Being supportive of players is very important, for sure. I don't like to be downer either, but I think pink-tinted goggles haven't ever helped a game before, so I thought I might share my experiences.
Darling, if you just want to make an oWoD Vampire game, I'd be more than happy to play with you.
I'll even play a Toreador.
I don't know what happened to him, but the one nifty scene I had on M1963 was with him.

Lack of Cups as a GM does suggest a lack of awesomeness when it comes to being a GM. We're talking about Stevie Y the GM, not Stevie Y the player.
That said, he's still a pretty good GM.

The problem is that nodeBB, to my knowledge, isn't portable. At all. We've been up for a long time, and we may lose a lot of information if we try to 'port over, if that's even possible.
As for my problem, I need someone who knows nodeBB, period, for good or ill.
To ride on that, I vastly prefer it when combat scenes are handled with just dice, if that's applicable, and no poses. Poses can be done later. Focus on the mechanics; worry about the RP later.
Hence my referring to it as "tone deaf" instead of "being a fucking worthless piece of filth that would ASPIRE to be as lofty as dogshit".
If you want to put him on your Ignore list, that's fine. You've your reasons. But I hope you can agree with me that calling him Bane is unwarranted. Man, that's like calling someone VASpider: you reserve those curses for the people to whom they refer.
And sure, @Meg, we could have that debate some other place, some other time. But I guess my point was, and still is, that he mea-culpa'd out of the box.
Ghost isn't stupid, and he certainly did not come off as defensive until someone accused him of specifically targeting Cupcake. Frankly, if someone accused me of deliberately picking on someone when I honestly didn't mean to, even I would get a bit defensive. I'll own up to being my own kind of special.

You're presuming this will occur, but staff can take steps to make it happen.
For the Werewolf sphere, for instance, if players are supposed to run one another's Hunts, then make that known. If there are events occurring that could cause Packs to rally and protect their territories harshly, make them known. A weekly announcement as to local goings-on could go a long way.
