He retired and left Dawn of Defiance in the hands of Trakata and Malacia who are pretty active wizards and run stuff a lot.

Trakata and Malacia are very patient. They helped an entire troupe of WoD'ers into the game, and that takes guts.

So glad I invested all my stuff so far into assassin + hunter perks and eq, to get to the "conquest" battle, which is literally nothing but a "spam basic attack fest" where anything other than the basic attack buttons is useless.

I only have the Shield-Breaker attack, and everything is just peachy in those battles. You can re-arrange your perks, though, for some drachmae.

Stun is a good ability to maneuver behind folks and gut them. Paralyze Arrows are also nifty.

Oh, and the game's advice "go level up and get stronger :D". WOW. Maybe if the enemies would STOP LEVELLING WITH ME.

As I said, it appears that the enemies stop leveling commensurately at around Level 14. Captains and other "bosses" may rise with you, but the grunts seem stuck at around 13 for me. Also, mercenaries remain as they are.

Go with Option 2. Demon was, in my opinion, their best product, and it showed. Be versatile in how you create your demonic avatar, and it'll be a lot of fun to play.

That's all right. We all have our travails.

But political commentary should be in the Hog Pit on this board, IMNSHO.

There's an entire section for political talk or discussion. Political sniping is what it is.

My pot-shot was at anti-vaxxers. That's not political; that's just common sense and reason against lunacy.

So, I finally picked up Battletech.

Man, it takes forever to refit my mechs. At least, that's what it seems like.

And why does my Vindicator pilot suck so badly at hitting shit? That's, like, the thing she's supposed to do. Just shoot. Shoot shit, bitch.

Gronk's learned this from the Colossal Gigantic Boss Man-Baby himself, Brady-baby. Gronk's also a misogynist.

You can pull specific mechs out of a mission?

Poor wording. I meant "finishes a mission."

The Spider is the fastest Mech out there. When scouting, you basically need to run as fast as you can with someone with decent Piloting and probably the Sensor Mark skill. That's it. Keep running around like a maniac because stopping means you'll get mud-stomped by a Striker vehicle, and that's just damn embarrassing.

If the enemy focuses on trying to track your Spider down, they aren't going to last long when my modified medium Mechs come over the hill, I would love to see the opponents' reaction when the Spider zooms past my BJ-version of the Enforcer or gets rained on by my SHWK-version of the Archer.

It really was undeserved; given that a lot of what was presented was milder than ... I'd have to say most of the original books. People can make the 'times have changed' argument and all that, but really they were just giving people more of what they had in the early editions (As opposed to the CoD stuff rewriting everything)

How dare you, sir. There is nothing at all objectionable about vagina-face.

      My thoughts.

Have you been working out long? Are you sensing that you're not quite doing the exercises as diagrams show? If so, get a trainer for a couple of sessions, and they will help improve your form and technique.

The benefit to signing on with a trainer is that they will help you keep motivated and on track towards your goals. For some people, this is worth the premium in price. Good trainers will remain in contact with you via text and e-mail to remind you of sessions and to pump you full of slogans to help you stay on target.

I've used them before. They were helpful. For average consumers, the best thing to do is go with your gym's trainers. Those trainers know the place well enough. If you like the training, then hire a private one.

Myself, I've been working out fairly regularly for about 20 years. I've done a lot of exercises and exercising, from when I was fit and in shape to the present. Frankly, I've gotten the most mileage out of online programs, but those have a plethora of routines available, along with the ability to track what you've been doing. I've said it a million times, but it's worth checking Daily Burn out.
