On that note...

AKKKSHUALLY the MU code really only assists in authentication onto the game. Connection is handled at the host level, which redirects incoming connection (probably through a switch) to the specified port. From there the protocols on the host and client maintain the connection. MU code has little to do with it.

You know those cats you hear about at nursing homes and such that always seem to know when someone is going to die and will sleep at that person's side? Actually the person dies from having their soul absorbed by the cat, and the cat just chose them at random.

Lessee, what else... I have Little Fears, a seriously disturbing horror game. The PCs are children menaced by the denizens of Closetland that want to drag them away. It's kind of a weird mash-up of the childish (you can fight off the monsters with the plastic ray gun!) and the really, really adult (thinly-veiled, or not at all veiled, references to abduction and abuse). The second edition ("Nightmare Edition") tones this down. It's a really well-written game I'm not sure I'd ever play, even if I found a group.

Cat: a Little Game About Little Heroes, by John Wick. You are a cat. The monsters are coming for your person. They can't see the monsters, but you can. (What did you think the cat was freaking out over?)

Kagematsu, a really short, structured samurai RPG. One person is playing the titular ronan, the rest of the players are village women trying to convince him to stop his wandering and defend them from the inevitable doom that threatens their village.

Sorcerer: probably the best-known RPG I'd still comfortably count as "fringe." The players are sorcerers who get power from bound demons. It comes at a price.

Found it! It's another Alan Bahr Tiny d6 game, but it's not on Drive thru anymore. Going to have to nudge him to see if I can still get a copy.

That show is a masterclass in "look at all this shit you thought was random one-offs or inconsequential information that is suddenly fucking amazing clues".

Gotta use the washroom before my commute. Every single time I'm in a rush and skip the pre-emptive counterstrike, the train has a delay of some sort and I'm dying by the time I get anywhere. Also, doing step calculations in these situations seems to make it worse.

I got to see GnR during the Use Your Illusion tour, it was awesome! They were walking out of shows left and right on that tour, but they played for nearly 3 hours when they came to my town.

Also, I got to see SUB HUM ANS last summer, too, they were amazing, if it wasn't for the singer making fun of two narbos in the crowd, I would have sworn they were lipsyncing it was so good.

While very surreal and imaginative, you could convert it to numerous systems to avoid the C&D.
