When a story ends in the absolute best way possible, thanks to an amazing person. Thank you, @Herja, and thank you to those witnessing it.
Don't forget the roads!

I'm coping pretty well, being a bit of a hermit as is. But spread is spiking, and my work is essential, so off I go to work every day. Thankfully my employer is super tight on following restrictions and does everything they can to keep us healthy. So far, a few at work has had it but they all got it from outside sources, and stayed the fuck away from work, so they didn't infect anyone AT work.
ANyway, here is someone in Sweden's holiday decoration...
Getting the chance to do something so risky it might end up killing my character, but it's something of my own choice and I am so thrilled. If he makes it? Awesome. If not? Also awesome.
@Arkandel It is a huge thing in media, it's everywhere. But probably not in the US where he was never that famous, I assume.
When someone reaches out with something cool, that your character happens to know a lot about and you get a chance to he helpful and feel a bit cool yourself for doing that. It feels like all that time spent digging into something is worth it when being able to share and help someone else move their story forward.
@Macha Upvoted not cause I like that this happened to you, but in sympathy. Sorry.
@RightMeow Having just discovered I've developed lactose intolerance, I feel this so hard. I'm always going 'Hmm, I'm sure a little bit won't hurt.'
But it does. It does hurt.
Sometimes it's still worth it.
@saosmash I just don't even mention it. I just go 'Hey, our characters have some history, they've done this and that', where this and that is not about what happened romantically.
I mean, I wouldn't want to start something like that with a player I don't know, so why would I even tell them, they probably feel the same!
I am the dumbest when it comes to anything code, but is there some way to recall last commands entered using the web-client on the phone? I realise there IS a way if on the computer, but I haven't figured out how to on phone, or tablet.
The heat. The fucking heat.
Didn't have the camera on me of course, but I just had one of these 'Yep, I live out in the country'-moments.
Went out for a cigarette. Four ravens are circling above my house. On my steps is the neighbor's cat, sprawled out. On a couple of steps higher is my grumpy long-haired cat sitting curled up growling at the neighbor cat.
It was a surreal and amazing coincident and for a moment I felt like a disney princess, just a really bad one with a cig in my mouth and telling the cats not to be idiots and to watch the damn ravens instead of growling at each other.
@surreality Trick her with some treats and be QUICK with a camera
Today is Midsommarafton (Midsummer's Eve) and I'm off to eat a socially distancing dinner with mom and dad and for ONCE the weather is awesome so we can sit outside and make it even safer.
Here, have a Happy Midsummer everyone with this midsummer cat I stole off the net somewhere.
@insomniac7809 This. THIS EXACTLY.
@surreality Yeah, it's similar for sure.
We might've diverged from the topic slightly but it's still within the ballpark. Other things that make me super irritated are:
Posts about 'We that grew up in the 50s, 60s, 70s always played outside, our moms smoked, we sat in cars without seatbelts and we still survived! etc etc' - they are so fucking MORONIC. STUPID. Yeah, cause this is part of the 'things were better in the past'-BULLSHIT. AHHH it enfuriates me to no end. Also it feels like more age-ism. Let's punch the 'weak kids of today'-asshattery.
Blonde-jokes. Just... don't. Just stop. They're not funny. They were never funny. They're misogynistic and inane.
I'm sure there's similar examples all over the world, but here's the Swedish one: 'You know you're from the NORTH if you eat icecream in the winter, and the closest neighbor is a twenty minute drive away! etc etc' First of all, you fucking idiots, the 'north' is HUGE. More than half the country. There's as many dialects and various differences here as ANYFUCKINGWHERE. Stop stereotyping. THe worst is the people FROM the north that posts shit like that.
