Some. More vividly, I recall seeing Lust/Caution and Infernal Affairs. When I was younger, I recall seeing him in Happy Together and Heaven Can't Wait, but that was a long time ago for me.

Do you know if he's especially fluent in English? I couldn't help noticing that for any scene in Shang-Chi that called for him to really emote, he switched back to (Cantonese, right?), which made me wonder if it was a stylistic choice the writers made, or if the director has helping him play to his strengths as an actor.

You know those cardboard signs people put in the grass by the sidewalk that have a phone number you can call to sell you car for cash NOW! or liquidate your home or just get a job the sign doesn't describe? The nursing homes near me are putting up those kinds of signs.

@eye8urcake I can't even find words for how horrible that situation is. You have my deepest condolences. I'll miss your perspective here very much, but I understand, and I hope this change is helpful to you.

Not for nothing, but I've always had the best results when I just ask if we're still okay, instead of letting myself spiral into certainty that I have been abandoned again. The other person almost always feels the same way.

I work in direct patient care. Have for twenty years. That means I stopped wearing my rings nineteen years ago. They trap germs and they feel gross with all the handwashing I do, holding all that water between the metal and my flesh. It's not just in my professional life, either. I'll break one out for a special occasion, but I've just fallen out of the habit of wearing jewelry on my fingers.

So why the fuck did I just find a ring out in my yard? I didn't wear it out there. I haven't worn it in more than a year. How did it get out there? No one else could have thrown it out there, so it must have been me, but when, and how?

This is going to bug the shit out of me.
