YES. She-Ra is the only fandom I've ever been part of that isn't dominated by people who seem to think the only way to enjoy a thing is to bitterly hate it and tear it down at every opportunity to prove you're smarter than it is. Hell, not only is it not dominated by those people, I've never come across one. It's some kind of magic.

Number four. I've been having some weird ethical concerns about taking a real person's face to use as my character's lately, and hunting down an artist I can afford to pay for an image isn't likely either, so that leaves nice, cheap words.

Speaking only for myself, I want to talk to people before I jump into scenes with them. The odds are too good that random, spontaneous RP will be either two people meeting in a coffee shop making awkward small talk with one person doing all the heavy lifting of asking questions; or unpleasantly sexual. I know a lot of people resent someone talking to them OOCly, but these days I'm fine with that. If you don't want to talk, then I don't want to play with you.

There's this cartoon I really like, the Owl House. The second season is coming out in a couple of weeks, but Disney did some kind of promo thing where a small number of people could request free tickets to see the first two episodes in advance. I guess that event must have already happened, because my YouTube feed is full of videos spoiling shit. Like, you don't even need to watch the vids, you get spoiled just by the thumbnail and/or title.

This is a very minor peeve. I'm not gonna lose any sleep over it. It just pisses me off that people who call themselves fans would be this devoted to ruining the experience for other fans.
