I like Sabbat, but, the dinosaurs are overplayed and the tropes never end. The Lancea et Sanctum is basically the best version of The Sword. Anyways.

Demon: The Fallen gives you stories like Spawn, The Darkness, Cthulu, Hellboy, etc. It also allows you, as the ST, to fuck with players in a great way: Philosophy. There are antagonists in DtF that can really force your players to think, and really flesh out their character - like that tidbit, about how sometimes, The Daemon doesn't remember anything about being God's Servant. Or how a Daemon might believe mythologies over religion, or how The Daemon is weak, and it is The Man who is in control of these mighty cosmic forces or - and my personal favorite - The Daemon is as a Goa'ould, and its Host might have to fight for control, or be devoured.

      P.S - I'll totally make a Goa'ould-like Super being.

Interesting idea. So. When a vampire drinks someone dry, they drink up their experience too, right? Considering each Covenant has a method to perceive memories via blood. Can I now go open up Bob, and suck out his 50xp worth of skills and such?

The idea is nice, as an idea. As a game it is too specific, I think.

      Concept Game:

Nightmare on Elm Street + Alice in Underland + The Darkness (Dark horse Comics) + WoD = The Week of Nightmares.

We all know that story, right? The one arc that pointed out how right The Sabbat, Technocracy and Kuei-jin were about Caine's Children? Because Lord Ravana woke up, a King of Hell, and decided to fuck the world. With his mind.

Basic rough idea: Game takes place within the 'Week' of Nightmares, wherein all of India was dragged into one of the 10,000 Hells, by Lord Ravana waking up. Except they weren't entirely flung into Hell, someone saved them, the same someone who made the Great Resurrection joke, the Baba Yaga story, and, of course, Dick Chaney: Malkav. So you are stuck between a rock and a hard place - You're in Hell, sort of, or you're inside of Malkav's consciousness. Or Malkav is in yours. Or you are a Malkavian. No one is really sure. Shit is really weird, and suddenly the Old Rules have New Rules and this dweebs Sheogorathian guy has Lord Cthulu as a butler, and it's cute but it's really not.

Because you're possibly in Hell. Or going to Hell. Or you're going insane.

The entire purpose of the game could be wrapped up in the dilemma, particularly if the Clans of Malkav and Ravnos were unable to be found. If Thaumaturgists and Necromancers had no power.

Welcome to my shard realm, bitch

    • RE: Reality Levels and WOD Realms

At Dark Metal, I remember it used to act like its own separate grid. Whereas CoH seemingly put you in the same room but, a different level of reality? I, personally, prefer a mix of both. For instance if there is a way for someone to see into Realities? There needs to be a * by their name or something, or if people are in the same room but different realities? There is a * in place of their name, to let others know they are in an occupied room.

But what about how necromancy is used for spying, you ask?

Your players need to be mature, unjaded and realize such games mean they are never alone. Specifically for things like politics. @Ganymede may have some better grip with how to implement that without coming off as weird.
