I would like to see Shifter oWoD v20. But with a focus on the 'lesser' breeds, such as Corax, Nuwisha, Ratkin and Kitsune. Also the Camazotz. Plzkthx.

RE: How would you run a large scene?
The very best method I have ever seen used to run a large scene, was one person - the Storyteller - writing out large pages (multiple paragraphs), and handling The Story while the other person who has a character in said scene, handles The Math - that includes rolls, general mechanical questions, and the like. This two-man show ran smooooooothly. A massive scene that would have taken hours with Vampire, took half the time and none of the enjoyment was missed out on.

I also started on MUDs in 98. Little late to the game I suppose. My favorite thing I found in there was finding a message for thieves if you scored a killing blow with an eye gouge it would send a graphic description of you jamming your fingers onto their eyes and driving them back until you hear a crack and find your fingers covered in brains... then it increased by about 50 percent your chance to spawn brains or an eyeball. Both of which could be cooked and eaten
Forgotten Realms, ftw. Illithid Psionicist.
Eating your brains.
...I wonder if Toril is still active.

I started on MUDs, and then discovered MUSH. I don't remember how I found MUDs, only that they had pretty colours, numbers, and lovely descriptions of orc-brains splattering over my fist.

Someone just posted up about Coyote Trail on a game I'm on: http://coyotetrail.wikidot.com. Have a look at it?
Also "Two Cities" - 1800s I believe, in the works.

I want to see something akin to World of Darkness.
However, tell the magic to piss off and die - I would really like to see fully thought out organic, biological vampires and lycanthropes vs humanity. Much like as seen in American Vampire books.
So like Sanctuary?
What is this Sanctuary you speak of?

Aha! But what about the element of Grimm's Fairy Tales?
Perhaps we are working with different versions of Changeling: the Lost, or coming from a different perspective, but in my opinion, the player's character is the sweet little old lady. She just doesn't know it yet.
Mmmm. Fae: Dark Ages. You want to see the kind of mind boggling combination of magic, horror and a mixture of fantasies? F:DA. Blight farms! Make the land fertile! Etc.
Also, Changeling: The Lost does move how you're saying, but generally it is undercurrent. The Changelings get that way to fight The Others, until The Hedge, or Wyrd take them and - MUAHAHAHAHAAA!
One morning you're watching Winnie the Pooh on the television, the next; you're living it.

I want to see a Pooh Bear running around the Hedge wearing Piglet's head as a hat and Tigger's pelt around his shoulders like a cloak... decorated with Owl's feathers and Eeyore's tail. Rabbit's Foot hanging around his neck like a grisly good luck charm. Kanga and Roo with him like a pair of vicious dogs, held back by chains and iron collars.
Winnie the Pooh meets Lord of the Flies. That's the Hedge I've always wanted to see and never got to experience.
Clearly you have never written with me. But this can be arranged.

RE: How hard should staff enforce theme?
@Admiral That is why, as Staff, you give a soft-touch..
...The Hedge transforms PoohBear into Naughty Bear and starts hanging entrails around like Yule decorations.

RE: How hard should staff enforce theme?
I like the examples. What I am noticing is, and I'll use BSG as a template; is that Packs, Cotories, Cabals and Houses are like their own ship. Each with a Captain. Each ship is run a certain way. A Theme. Now, outside of that ship is Genre, which is where the NPCs come in, and Staff can guide a whole came with soft-touches. Two Captains in a BSG, with two different perspectives, can be considered right, while within their own ships. Outside of them, you have to give over to the Genre/General Consensus.
It is seeming to work relatively well in various places I play and sometimes lurk; like a horrid, slippery, fat catfish. Lurklurklurk. Anyways; I really think Staff only needs soft-touches and to be used as an OOC Peace Officer and even Intermediary between players. As for Captains? Well. Don't like one? Slit his throat and push him overboard - it worked for pirates pretty well.

RE: What are you listening to?!
So, Pandora has a 'Thumbprint Station' now. It is wonderful.
Ces Cru, Madchild, Amon Amarth, Devildriver, Gojira, Seasick Steve, Steel Wheels, and Voltaire. Thanks Pandora!
