I helped playtest a BT Merc MUX, it was supposed to be 'join or create your own merc team, can do mech modifications with weapons/stuff, go on missions' instead of the variable king of the hill scenarios that most of the BT MUX games have.
Then I stopped logging in for a summer for band nerd shit, and when I got home, it was turned into yet another variation of FS vs CC king of the hill.
Random question... does MegaMek have aerospace shenanigans, or is it all ground forces?

@goalcam Cyberpsychosis is weird. It makes sense in Shadowrun, because magic and souls and junk.
@Reason It was the Bubblegum Crisis RPG, same rules for Mekton I think? Lots of derived stats, like weight limits for encumbrance and jump distance and other stuff. Obviously, because it was heavy on a cyberpunk anime setting with powersuits, there was a lot of stuff revolving around the specific setting and designing your own murdersuits.
There were two options, either a d10 or 3d6... and maybe a d20 one, I forget, and the book is very far away, upstairs, and I am teh lazy. At least 3d6 rolls would make the crit-fail likelihood smaller?
AS FOR SR5... I admit I didn't dig deep enough to learn all the matrix stuff; I know it changed from SR4 but never figured out how much. Denver is ADAMANTLY 3rd, but there's too much bad blood for me to feel like putting in the work to get involved there again, and Mildly Constructive ain't the section for me to dish out that hot gossip.
There is also a significantly less-crunch-y RPG ruleset that came out recently, but it's weird and I don't remember all of the stuffs. Dibs on Aerospace pilot.
I dunno about Red, but Fuzion is pretty crunchy. It also has a decent amount of room for adding your own stuff... ironically, you could tack on a Shadowrun mod out of what was supplied with the basics of Fuzion, from what I recall.
What bits of the SR5 Matrix was horribad?

@RizBunz Yeah. City of Hope has its problems. They are many and varied. But it's the only place I can currently play a Mummy (or at least... pretend to play one, while I distract myself with Space Engineers)
I will just strait up do the @desc to be a description of whomever I decided to use as a PB. As a creeper, I have a library of photos to potentially use for characters. Most of them aren't actors or actresses.
For instance, I had a Wagner Werewolf on FC... I just googled 'Blonde MMA woman' and went down the rabbit hole until I found someone. In other cases, I will strait up go out of my way to mould a character to fit the PB if there is a gimmick - TR Werewolf, there was jokes about a Ukelele bard going on in the OOC room when I was apping in. So damnit, I took the specialization and found a Ukelele player for the PB.
AS FOR PBS AFFECTING MY RP... also yes. If there are two players/characters using the same person, I will go out of my way to mistake one for the other, as punishment for them not combing the wiki to make sure their CHOSEN PB was not already in circulation (something else I'll do, like a creeper).
I acknowledge that Space Engineers is 6 years old, but damned if it hasn't kept me distractedly entertained for the last two weeks.
@Ominous Boats are also cool and fun and remove one of the more problematic axis' to work with. I'd be down to be weird on there, maybe. But that's for discussing elsewhere!
