2. RoS not only deletes so much of TLJ out of spite that I'm surprised they didn't move Kylo Ren's scar back to his cheek, but it undermines and retcons key plot points and elements of 1-7.

I salvage my viewings of the prequels pretty okay by pretending four facts are true for them.

1. Darth. Darth. Binks. No, I'm not joking. If you follow the ring/rhyme theory, 'powerful force user hiding their identity behind goofy idiot facade' is... Yoda. There's a ton of other little snippets I totally pretend is FOOL PROOF EVIDENCE to support this.
2. This step is the squick step, but... well. All romance dialogue in 2 is Anakin unintentionally mind-tricking Padme. It's not malicious, but as established in 1, he is really good at using the force reflexively/without knowing it is happening. Also a reason why 'he is too old!' Not enough time to teach the level of subconscious restraint needed to stop this sort of thing. We presume this stops by 3, because the dialogue was not as god-awful, and that she does manage to have genuine feelings for him at some point. This ties into the next bit a bit, which is
3. Padme and Obi-Wan were an item in the lull between 1 and 2. Ya'll. He jumps out a window to get the assassin droid. Anakin hasn't seen her since 1, but Obi-wan does seem rather familiar with her, DOESN'T HE? It also gives Padme some complex emotions that Anakin can misread during his 'she betrayed me!' spiel.
4. I honestly can't recall if this was actually canon before now, but in light of ROS, it is extra believable if it was not already established as fact - Padme does not die of a broken heart. Palpatine steals her life energy to keep Anakin alive until he gets all Vader-fied.

Alternatively... had every actor embraced that the films were actually supposed to just be 100% cheesy CAMP, like McGregor and McDiarmid did, the prequels would have been a magical delight.

@Derp I don't know what I wanted, but it certainly isn't what we got.

Sometimes I read on the phone, sometimes on the computer, and for a while, each would track the last post I read on them... so if I only read to page 5 on the phone, read to page 10 on the computer, then went back to phone, it would dump me to page 5.

It stopped at some point, and I think it started again, I'll experiment more.

As for Crystal Fox News... I always wanted to do like. Demon Pundit Tomi Lahren. I don't see why I can't copy/paste the idea and instead of like... oWoD Demon leading the masses astray through the Holonet, just make her a Dark Sider doing a mind trick to get viewers to buy Brawndo, with it's Electrolytes (IT'S WHAT PLANTS CRAVE!), or something.

I enjoyed it overall, but have significantly more issues than I had with Last Jedi. It had a few 'What? The fuck you do that for?!?'s here and there.

Biggest regret is not spamming Twitter with calls for Boyega and Isaac to go to the LA premier in costume and spend all their time making out.

Semi-relevant to that point: I think they found out that RoS was coming out the same week as CATS and decided the characters had to compete with the CATS horniness.

I'll poke in here and note that whether or not Kinfolk are second class citizens isnt a standard.

It varies based on tribe, auspice, personality, etc.

Some tribes, garou, auspices might argue that the litany only requires them do certain things but doesn't inherently make them in charge. "Cleaving to the mortal world" doesn't mean to treat kinfolk like baby farms who dont count, but could also mean to cleave to their wisdom and respect them for their burden to be the parents of children who they will inevitably have to see go off to fight with a life expectancy of less than 10 years post-change.

W:tA, like all WoD, is subject to the whims and interpretation of the people who play it, but nowhere in the books does it state these things to be standards.

It is absolutely possible that a pack could bind around a Kinfolk as the heart and soul of their pack.

I imagine the Tribes most likely to treat Kinfolk as 2nd class to be: Get of Fenris, Shadow Lords, Red Talons, Silver Fangs, and maybe Uktena

But could I see Wendigo, Black Furies, Children of Gaia, and Glass Walkers honoring their kinfolk at higher levels? Totally.

Red Talons don't have human kinfolk, that survive...

I would argue, in their case, that's probably the most accurate reason. They prefer the feral life, and while female wolves are valuable to the pack, they are just animals and the Talons tend to defer to their animalistic nature more oft than not. So in this one case, that's probably the most correct portrayal of what a female Kinfolk would be doing.. Which is why most games don't allow Talon Kinfolk.

Curveball: Red Talon Lupine Kinfolk who is a Gaian Kami/Posessed (who can also shapeshift into hoo-manz)

A useful kinfolk varies, based on what useful you want to do, as well as if you want to... er. Multi class. In oWoD, it is possible to be a Kinfolk who is also a Mage or Changeling. Or a Vampire, but that might get you killed faster than playing the crazy evil ones.
