Ok, we (aka mostly me) have made some progress. I was tempted away from my beloved Fate to try out Genesis (and if there are any people out there with skill in that system I'd be happy to hear from you!). So I'm learning about it and plodding my way through.

Questions that have already arisen include - do we prevent some archetypes from being in certain guilds? I mean, an Igor Assassin is not exactly in theme...

We now have a grid, and chargen that (we think) works.
There are a couple of questions I am mulling over (does races actually need to be coded as a group? Does nationality need to be a dropdown? This would be useful for census to not have a dozen spellings of Morporkian.)
I'm less familiar with the system, so would love some people to come and test combat to make sure what I think will work and what works are the same thing.

I was running a shadowrun campaign, and they were rescuing some pods of technomancers. One of the players decided he would link to them all, rolled incredible rolls over and over so I let him. Now he lives with ten technomancers dropping into his head at various moments who I have control over...
