@arkandel One of my friends who hadn't visited us for a year went on holiday to Sydney. She discovered her clothes had my dog's hair on them whilst there. It gets everywhere. Admittedly, he was known as Gufnork due to his hair...

@arkandel and colour. My old dog was black but this pup is white, and now all my black clothes are black with fluff...

RE: Who are you?
OK then.

My favourite food is cauliflower cheese. It is my comfort food but the shop bought ones don't have enough cheese or pepper in them so I either make it or add more.

I am dog-mad, and was raised by dog-mad people. When I showed my newborn baby to my grandfather, he said she had too much white (bad thing for show boxers) and asked if I had had her docked yet.

I also have a collection of romance novels, because they are popcorn for my brain which works too hard all day. I do love real books though, for more long term reads.
-
I do have tattoos.

I was raised by social workers and now have a pathological reaction to people telling me too much fluffy detail. Just the facts please.

I'm allergic to wine.

RE: Critters!
@packrat your courage astounds! Also, d'awwwww.
My Harley has eaten the anti teeth grinding mouth guard...at least I believe she did since it is gone with no trace. I haven't found the remains yet, but she has taken to burying her preferred items.

RE: What drew you to MU*?
I love that we are creating a story, that my thread is just one of them, that other's characters can impact that story, and surprise me. I love that it can be a community, that I met some close friends (and my husband) through the hobby. It broadens the world, makes me speak to people I never would have (I found out someone I liked voted for trump, for example).
The people. The story. In short.

RE: I'm Sorry
@paris Especially since the person doesn't have any board history so how the hell are we meant to know? After all that could be ....anyone here?

RE: Critters!
@aria As requested, with much wiggling and squirming..with added bacon to bribe to stay still long enough.

RE: Fate Development Thread
@wildbaboons said in Fate Development Thread:
I think it's really just a matter of personal preference. I personally way way preferred DF RPG over DFA. DFA just didn't grab me at all and lost my interest pretty quick when I was looking through it. I don't know how those two compare to Fate and Fate Accelerated but I'm not sure there is a best way
This is definitely a YMMV issue. There is no One True Way

RE: Fate Development Thread
@kumakun I don't see why not. It seems an ideal place to use it! What fire worries you?
Belatedly, I agree with the log thing that there is a risk of the Cool Kids driving the mush. We had it for a short time where a few players were driving and we ended up with a real problem. I agree that it is writing together but I think it is important that, when it turns negative, you have rules in place to step in and stop it.

RE: Bloopers
Ahaha I found the link to the epic porn mav I mentioned. This is truly not safe for work, and definitely comes with some trigger warnings

RE: Critters!
@kanye-qwest we regularly debate painting the other on! At the moment I feel she is carrying off the "I was the person who fell asleep at the party and they shaved it off" look...
She is called Harley Quinn. Since all boxers are mad as a box of frogs.
AND SHE DOES SIT AND RECALLS NOW! I am SO proud of that. She is four months now.

RE: Critters!
We had to leave her with my mother for one night. The next day, I wasn't able to move for having a pup next to me. This is her "helping" me study...
She grew out of her warm coat, so we bought a bright one to be able to see her out on the fields at night..

RE: Fate Development Thread
@kumakun I wanted to transition DS to the accelerated, and we had started that work I think. I think my main motivation was purely that - simpler and cheaper for players to get into it. the DF-RPG is not expensive but some people can't afford it and I always felt it best to make it as accessible as possible, as legally as possible.

RE: Podcasts
A bit off direction but try the wittertainment one - kermode & mayo film review. I love it. (if there any members of the church here, hello to jason isaacs, tickity-tonk and down with the nazis). Great film reviews, and a nice number of silliness happening.

RE: Fate Development Thread
@kumakun an interesting idea... I'll be interested to see how it plays out.

RE: Fate Development Thread
@kumakun there is always the risk of voting circles, and of people crashing big scenes, getting their vote and going to the next one. I've seen that plenty of times, especially where voting can be seen...

RE: RL Anger
@aria can I please have that? Not retail but the mother in law is coming for Christmas....

RE: Real World Peeves, Disgruntlement, and Irks.
Yeah, I'm a prescriber, and I'd echo what @ganymede said. There are as many opinions as doctors, and mostly many different types of drugs (apart from for some of the conditions I treat!). If your doctor is not listening, change anyhow. The most important person in the room is you, and if they can't explain their decisions then head out of there
