Unexpected performance poetry with no escape route.

Vaping has been studied somewhat - this in 2014 (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4110871/) and this (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4110871/) due to be released in september but the abstract seems interesting.

@fatefan I'll nudge the people over at Tenebrous Isles who have been working on theres - again it is Dresden based because that is what they do. (http://tenebrous.mechanipus.com/wiki/Main_Page) . I know Lem is working on a non-Dresden system too. Slowly the fate mush spreads!

@Meg My OH started vaping a couple of months ago and picked up an aspire kit too. Nice and simple, he tells me. Beats smoking from my point of view!

Just to let you know he has been admitted to hospital (brain tumour). I'll keep you appraised of developments as I hear them.

@fatefan The benefit is that it can be anything - on the note of fate code, the folks starting a new mush have some that they have promised to post. Theirs is a mix of the fate systems. I'm sure that the other game coming up with fate will share theirs too You've seen Exeter's stuff?

Exeter (formally of DarkSpires mush) and I have been working on a project to help out the fate games starting out, and let people play tabletop type fate/fae sessions on a mush.

So far, we have dice and sheet functionality, and forums to set up your campaign. We hope to have some campaign function to set refresh, fate points and stunts soon.

We also have a code sharing policy, to help those games get moving without so much pain, and hope that is useful. Exeter has a github with most of the code on it (happy to link to other Fate code bases too)

A good friend of mine had CPS come to her house and launch an investigation because they'd gotten one of those anonymous calls. The call had been made by a psycho bitch she worked with (they'd have a personal falling out that was not related to her family in any way), and this person's mode of social revenge was calling CPS. The social worker didn't do anything more than visit a couple times and see that, indeed, the kids were happy and not abused. But it was eye-opening for me to see how that part of the system worked.

My sister has a haemophiliac kid and regularly has the social services (UK CPS) called on her. You would think they kept a note saying "mother not beating him, has bleeding disorder". She is very good friends now with the local social worker who keeps being sent out

I'm graduating with merits, two days before my kid's 21st. Nice week at home.
