It's a lot more likely in Arxian society that it would be "smaller people and children/adolescents are favored for this task", instead of women.
ETA: men can be tiny, too! No gender bias goes both ways, there's no undue expectation that all men are hulking, powerful badasses who have never shed a tear in their life and walk off lost limbs.
I would love a game where there is no real ooc communication and you just log in and do your thing. Unfortunately, it sounds like this one is pretty full up of people who use that to be dicks. Ah, players. They ruin everything.
We're going to smooth out the drama, no worries. Darkwater will be course corrected and Thrax/Gyre plots will continue to hum along.
If someone is bringing OOC drama to you, please do let us know. We've had some complaints already and have spoken with people to let them know that's not ok. If it keeps up, we'd like to know so we can address it. Please and thank you!

@Jaded I think you might be overestimating how much fun a "i want a seven piece armor set made of GOLD that shows off my BUTT" is for a crafter.
I mean, maybe there's a unicorn out there that really, really, likes to RP taking measurements and dithering over prices.
I just have my doubts.
The shops were implemented because I think crafters would probably like to be able to rp about non commission stuff, and maybe, MAYBE have time to work on projects they like, to put up for sale. It's my fond dream to have a grid with stores where there's actual stuff to browse.

Oh man it would be fun to make another grid. And we might! But it is unlikely to be Eurus, because of our avoidance of PCs without agency. Eurus is an unpleasant place to be, if you aren't one of those in power.

@thenomain You can have a very 'successful' - IE long lived and popular game that does not at all foster a healthy community. Take Firan, for instance. Now, Firan's staff was NOT always the hotbed of insanity and unethical behavior people will tell you, here. It just wasn't. When I was part of it, though, it was very lax about some things, and SOME staffers, and very very strict about other things I also found stupid. But, no one could argue that the game community was a healthy one where people collaborated well.
So, sure. You're right, over-invested and unfair staffers (I object to the term PHB for a lot of reasons) have run a lot of popular games. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't discuss/strive for better.
This thread is just reminding me that I still think the SWU has the silliest names in all fiction.
There is no way for anyone to enforce this rule. I still think it's probably smart to avoid a lot of possibly problematic rp going on overtly that you don't want on your game.
@Anadventurer , banning anything on your game is going to cause a lot of argument and probably keep some people away, and so be it, IMO.
