@lordbelh Superman is hella boring. Same goes for Cyclops/Jean Grey.
Now Spider-Man, there's an exceptional American superhero.

@Bad-at-Lurking i don't. I assume those were star wars jokes?
@darksabrz
Not sure, but you said you are playing on PC? Or Xbone? See if you can find immersive armors for your version. That's a pretty great mod that adds about 100 new types of armor you can craft. Is cool.

highest concentration of this in broccoli sprouts. I get them and blend them up in smoothies that are strongly flavored (like orange juice or pineapple) because the sprouty flavor is STRONK
My entire office is sick. Well, about a third of our workforce is at home, and a couple of more are at work sniffling and coughing.
Our CEO was complaining this morning people are 'too sensitive' since we have a release next week. As a result one of the folks who didn't come in at first because he has a fever even felt he had to come to work since he couldn't get his VPN connection straight, so we got an even bigger share of the plague.
And the weekend is almost here. Dammit. I don't wanna spend it in bed.
Your CEO is a pos. I'm sure you already knew that.
i had no trouble with that desc tbh. I've definitely seen more oblique.
It's very much regional. In Texas you will always be "dear", or "hon" or "sugar/sug". My favorite send up of this is a scene in King of the Hill (still the most accurate portrayal of Texas I have ever seen) where Dale's wife comes into a room and says "Have any of y'all sugs seen Dale?"
poser and daz models are almost entirely nightmare fuel
@ThugHeaven Everyone will forgive her next Christmas.

In fairness to people picking tiny, fragile-looking characters for their hardcore warriors that has been something of a trend in Hollywood and other visual media. I think the only athletic looking action star that comes to mind is Michelle Rodriguez.
Silje Torp! Gwendoline Christie! Kaley Cuoco! VJ Bani! Sydelle Noelle! Angela Basset! Olivia Munn! Brie Larson!
Ok maybe I have a type.
Ok 2017. Don't get any funny ideas about QEII
I play all the things, and honestly don't worry TOO much about how well I do it. Do I play a good man? IDK, but it's fun for me, so I do it. And then everyone wants to throw fucking costume parties and fancy dress stuff and I get bitter I'm not playing a fashionista girl, but I digress.
I think (based on no evidence) that the heavy prevalence of white characters probably does reflect rl demographics in some way. I could come up with a dozen possible reasons and they could all be valid or invalid for a small portion of people, but is it a problem? IDK. I know I like to see diversity in characters to play somewhere, and it's a must if it is a somewhat RL setting. But I don't like it if that diversity is just "a ton of Japanese girls and one or two strong, tatted up Black dudes". That's a red flag.
But is it a PROBLEM? I still don't know. I think it's so much about preference. Some people like to play what they know. I prefer to play things that are not like me, but without tipping over into playing stereotypes or recreating entire journeys I have no experience with. I have no problem playing a POC in a modern game as long as discrimination isn't a main focus of that game. It just doesn't seem fun. My heart hurts enough IRL.
Mmm in n out. Though really if you want a burger, just go to Five Guys.
that all sounds exhausting. i'm adopted so i never really knew, but decided i was heritage: viking. and then DNA tests came about
When I start to tell a friend a story and she says "OMG yes, story time. You tell the best stories". Made my night.
Ansi to your heart's content. Ignore the haters, who probably wouldn't understand joy or fun if it bit them in the facehole.
(i'm not a better storyteller than you, but take an upvote anyway!)
Hearing that Night Vale is doing a show in the area, and then instantly hearing "I got us tickets. We're in the balcony."
Wooo!
@Misadventure I'm not sure yet how it will integrate with the current game world, because it's largely player driven, and we'll have to see how PCs go about overcoming the current barriers to open, practiceable magic. the current plan is, when magic becomes a THING again, that will unlock a separate, time-gated xp flow, so you won't have anyone who saved up xp suddenly a level 6 bloodmage after two days of study. But, all PCs in Arx will have the innate ability to learn some sort of magic, be it traditional or inwardly-focused enhancements (think combat arts/styles). The PCs are /all/ part of the special few, if they choose to be. So we will definitely have criminals and there ARE certain magical styles and disciplines focused on people being Sol Badguy, for sure.
Dominion isn't something I have an exhaustive grasp on. To be honest, it's not my field of interest. But it will essentially be the way the leaders of Houses and Orgs (with holdings) manage those holdings. Taxes, production, espionage, trade, war, etc. There are skills that will be purchaseable for Dominion, specifically. Apos is probably way better for elaborating on that. There are some systems I feel strongly about! Dominion isn't one of them.
