@ghost Yeah, it'd be rough to pretend the people who died from heat exhaustion got up and chased you.

@saosmash Oh man, what? I love escalation. It's my go to when dealing with people. Why yell at the first person you talk to? Even if it is their fault, they can't do anything. Just insist you get to contact a supervisor. And then insist on being put in contact with THEIR supervisor. Eventually someone will tell the truth or help you just to avoid their boss asking why the fuck they are being bothered.

RE: How much plot do people want?posted in Mildly Constructive
@Roz Yes. Of course it's too much to keep up with if you are trying to be on top of all the plot. It's a game with well over 100 players, and any and every one of them is able to open investigations and generate clues and plot threads.
The best Arx advice is to focus on what is interesting to both you and your character, and don't feel slighted when other people are digging into the things that interest THEM and their characters.

Ramen is so greasy. SO GREASY. I do like the 'vegetarian' versions, though. Yum... Pho, too.

I love that it's been months since I had to have the "there are no prostitutes in Arx?" debate.
Also, I love it when you can take multiple NPCs to a PC event and not steal the entire focus and everyone just hums along in conversation and about the event and things flow well and it's wonderful.

Wrong. You can drink beer and talk around your feelings in a manly fashion. The bar-rp WRITES ITSELF.

No really, someone make a modern day Supernatural game where everyone has to play a hunky dudebro hunter or demon or angel and all the NPCs are the mother figures and girlfriends and plucky female sidekicks who are DOOOMED.

Innistrad! VAMPIRES. Wait, no, MUers ruin vampires. But Sorin is my waifu.

@Arkandel Supernatural is just Paranormal Bromance Soap Opera. I mean yeah, you could have fun in a setting where you take that out, but it'd just feel like a WoD game, maybe.
The whole point of supernatural is that the FATE OF THE UNIVERSE hinges on bromance, and manly feelings.
