I don't expect a huge outcry about not being able to play Abyssals. They're not Jedi. They aren't even Sith. Being an Abyssal is awful and a commitment from the lore.

I would disagree because 'People have a kingdom over here and have made 2300 posts about its events in the last month' mean a lot less to me than 'the city/region/country I live in had zero posts about its events in the last month'.

Pretty much this. Dragonblooded sound cool as hell... But I'd really like to make a Lunar.

I think I was able to enjoy Cyberpunk a lot more than my friends because I had no hype going into it. I love the setting lots, but somehow I just didn't follow CP very closely, and that served me pretty well from the looks of things.

Euphoria's idle policy is 60 days. The way Ares works is that you get warned once via post, and then when the admin runs the idle sweep again (and you still have not logged in), you get marked as "Gone" or your last will is enacted if you set one up.
People marked as 'gone' still can come back if they want to. But if you haven't logged into a game in 60 days? Ehhh, odds are you aren't coming back.
Every single game has an idle policy. I'm not sure why that would be a deterrant.

Again, sorry, my mistake. It just seemed like really odd timing, and I often go two or three weeks without logging into a place sometimes.

Well, I don't know how long it actually takes to idle out! But right before this post was made, a whole bunch of people were purged, and it just baffles me. Why not let them mosey on back?

I really don't understand the common policy of rapidly cycling people who don't log in every week. It's very depressing to see 8 people get purged every week. Who cares if a non-roster didn't log on for a while?
