@Shebakoby He left me because I'm such a crazy bitch he couldn't stand me. I said awful things to him like 'you need to get a job'. Never ever would I have him back. He had to borrow money from his parents and friends to pay child support.

It's easy to feel you'd be the exception or somehow special. People like that are very good at making someone they aren't paying much attention to special somehow.

It's even easier if it starts with misinformation. Like we're separated or if you have no knowledge of them being with someone. One you're out its easier. Sad and then wtf and then like 'wow, you're not a nice person, bye Felicia!'

No one deserves to be put through the 'I'm totally breaking up with them...tomorrow' wringer. I'm just staying until I get some money, until the lease is up, for the kids, until xyz holiday...nope. It's selfish and not right to anyone involved, even the 'awful' spouse/so.

The change to BMI is roughly 10 pounds. It's hardly a big deal. I'm not sure it made much of a difference, especially for people who were far more than that amount overweight.

There's been a change in the formula for scalability. It's a mathematical change but it didn't make much of a difference either. A few pounds.

BMI isn't perfect. There are statistical outliers. Body fat is still a good judge. As for heart disease and cancer? Obesity is a risk factor for both. By all means though, you do you and I'll do me. I'm just saying don't misrepresent things like 'I eat so little but can never lose weight' or decide it's cool to be cruel to skinny people or people who have lost weight.

I have an anorexic friend. Not anorexia nervosa, but she has problems eating due to some illnesses and stress which is medical anorexia. She's thin and beautiful (two separate things) and she is allowed to be unhappy with her body. I'm fat and I'm allowed to be unhappy with my body. There's this rule that if you're smaller than someone, they will shut you down when you complain.

I'm a size 8, so smaller than 'average' and I'm still fat. I hated being told 'I wasn't obese!!!' when I was MORBIDLY OBESE and I hate now being told 'you're smaller than me so you're fine!' now when I say I'm overweight. It's not even that nice sort of 'I think you're beautiful' but negative. I've lost friends because I was point blank told how dare I lose weight with fibromyalgia and hypothryoidism. That I was a liar and don't have them. What? God forbid you complain that something isn't available in your size.

I hear more now than I ever did before on what I'm going to eat. Is that all you're eating? Have dessert it won't hurt you. Oh you can eat more than that. Aren't you hungry? Ugh. I'm not commenting on your food, don't comment on mine. There's a constant barrage of negative messages like men like meat not bones. I'm so over it.
