Seriously, if your office is open until 5, your phones should probably not be turned to voicemail/after hours at 3. I doubt all three people in the office had some sort of emergency, so wtf

See for me, I get an idea of what I want a character to look like, and will try to find an actor/actress or famous-ish model that comes as close as I can.

What I would love is to be able to find someone who comes close, and use AI to try and change it up to be a little closer to my original mental picture.

And somewhat like Faraday and Reimesu - I can have a hard time with picturing a face from description.

I'm sorry. I know how that can be, when you live all alone, and I know how much help a dog can be to keep those at bay. Don't hesitate to reach out to those that care. Distraction can help you get through.

I mean, waaaay waaay back in the day, I saw a woman at the Ren Faire I worked at who was the physical embodiment of the medieval character I was playing - a badass swordswoman. I told one of the guys who worked in my area with me about it, and one day when we were heading out for the day, he steered me over to her.

HE had told her about my 'online collaborative story writing hobby', and about my character.. She was not only flattered, she offered to pose for photos for me, so I could USE HER as my PB. I was flustered and embarrassed, but I totally took pictures of her. I might still have one around here somewhere. So.. maybe not all people would be bothered, if they knew?

@Arkandel So, as one of those Tier 1 types, who ended up being responsible for running herd on coders, developers, etc etc - Women know what they're walking into, generally. Make sure there's no completely sexist jokes, sexual harassment, talking about tits or sex, and you should be okay.

(Yes, all of those things have happened to me in my forays into male dominated fields)

I honestly think that any game, any size, any genre, can turn into a toxic cesspit. I think it has a lot to do with the players approved, and what staff allows to let slide/do nothing about. Staff attitudes on things matter too, of course.

Walmart pick up has saved me a lot of food waste for less impulse buys. I still waste more food than I would like. But without it, if I need to go to the other stores for things? I need to psyche myself up AND rest after.
I can not sit in my work chair without leaning back which lets me swing my feet (it's a chair for a tall person, and I am so very much not one).
The so bored it hurts has happened more than I care to.

So I applies for a Customer Service position. Tell them I need 13 an hour rock bottom to start. "Sure, okay."

I get there - it's a Marketing position. Cold Calling - and I get told I only get 13 dollars an hour AFTER I generate 40k in leads.
