@Ninjakitten All Them Witches - Open Passageways
It's awesome when you see people post the same songs you would because they're awesome songs.

RE: RL things I love
@Auspice That is why I love working from home. I have my Logan, and if I get stressed out, he comes and puts his head in my lap.

@hedgehog We're supposed to be hedging bets? I didn't even put any money down! (ba dum dum tish) I have faith you can do it.

@Ganymede Then kick him in the nuts. Don't swing with his helmet. If no one had gotten in the way, and he'd hit him just right, there's speculation it could kill a man.

RE: The ADD/ADHD Thread (cont'd from Peeves)
One thing I have noticed, is that I don't forget things as often. But I still want to put things off that make me anxious. It's a challenge.

RE: Health and Wealth and GrownUp Stuff
I have two auto immune diseases that cause pain.
No. I will never 'get better'. If I'm lucky, there will be a day I find the right combination of things to make it manageable. Right now, if I'm in so much pain I take something to knock me out... just tell me it's okay if I don't come RP. Please.
I don't want to hear about Yoga, or CBD oil (Which I was using, and was helping, until I could no longer afford it), or this miracle snake oil, or diet or... whatever.
Please. Just understand. That's all I ask for. -
RE: Health and Wealth and GrownUp Stuff
@Auspice Dilaudid left in screaming agony, clinging the sides of my hospital bed, and occasionally scratching at my arms in reaction.
I had told the surgeon and his team beforehand I had reactions to synthetics, and morphine was the best bet. It took them 3 days to switch me off Dilaudid.

RE: Health and Wealth and GrownUp Stuff
Apparently, I wake up when supposed to be under anesthesia. 4 surgeries, five times. Every doctor commented on it. (The one who had to operate twice found me super funny.) The first time, I apparently just waved my hand in time to the music, until I slipped back under.
Second time, I apparently woke up and was mumbling something, the second time that surgery, I told him not to mess up.
(They do not give me the paralyzing stuff, something about reacting to other medications, etc. So I just have the oxygen mask unless they need to dose me more heavily and then there's the dreaded tube).
2 out of 3 of the surgeons found it interesting that I wake up and they can talk to me, and get a reaction. Hand movement, (I flipped the one off, when he was asking me a question), etc.Apparently, waking up like this is supposed to be somewhat rare (depends on the study). But I'm also resistant to novicaine (sp), and when I had teeth out with twilight sedation, apparently I kept trying to sing along with the music playing. (so I got more of the juice, so I was extra wooooo when I woke up).

RE: Health and Wealth and GrownUp Stuff
I am currently on a steroid as part of my management plan for my pain. I can eat WAY under my calories for a day, and I still GAIN weight, even with doing more physical movement. It's so frustrating, but knowing I am not alone in weight loss/gain hell helps. Thanks, guys.
Now if someone has some advice on helping a bruised rib, I'm all ears.
