@mietze I take Wellbutrin, because they were trying to find a one shot with depression and ADHD.
At first, it was like 'whoa.' - I only had 2 thoughts at a time instead of six. But at almost a year in, it's already lost some of it's efficacy. Sooooo I dunno what to do .
Well, the urgent cares here open at 8 am. I attempted to schedule an appointment for today after midnight, but got the 'the clinic is closed, please try during business hours'. So, 8am, there I am, trying. And trying. and trying... all of them are already booked up for the day.
The woman I spoke to yesterday, told me I had to do it online, but the website says they do it by phone. So I am going to call, and be like "Look, I need this test done for work, and it will not let me schedule it online for a future date. Please help me out."
@silverfox Yes. I checked all the ones in my county.
@TNP None of the pharmacies I called had any, and they said their sister stores were out, too. (We've had a spike, after all).
But thank both of you for the suggestions. 
@silverfox New York. We're riding a second wave. And it's not that we don't have supplies, it's more that they can only see so many people in an urgent care in a day, with all the extra measures in place. (Note: Not NYC)
@Aria That was not offered as an option when I called in to try and see about the doctor, or a visit, etc. Which is weird, as all my other doctors do it.
@Ganymede I mean, I'm working from home. It's not his demand, but his boss that wants it. My boss is more worried that I might /have/ Covid.
So, I don't know if this goes here, or health, or real life peeves, but fuck it.
I'm sick. Low grade fever, headaches, exhausted, and so on. My boss asked me today to get a dr note or a covid test.
Problem - if you have even ONE Covid symptom, you can't get in to see the dr. - You have to go get a Covid test. Tests are only given with a dr order, or at the Urgent Cares. None of the UCs in my county had an opening, nor in the closest two. So now my boss wants me to work tomorrow, because I can't get proof of being sick. WTF
My little inner nerd is sobbing. There were so many nights Jeopardy was the only thing that made me feel good about myself.
@Wretched Well for me, when I'm in a discord and gaming? Someone will say something that's part of a lyric - and off I go. My best gaming pals are so used to me just bursting into random bits of songs.
I feel super called out by the water bottle graveyard in the backseat, the way too many tabs in a browser window, and the non-stop song stuck in my head.
I wake up with a song stuck in my head, and it will progress to another song, and another.. all day long.
He was such a great actor. I think almost anyone can hear him in their head from some movie he was in that they loved (For me, it's the Rock. Why? No idea.)
But 90? He had a helluva life.
When a conversation comes up in an OOC room, and it's enlightening and everyone's just vibing. It's a great moment.

Hall of Famer, 'Chairman of the Board' Whitey Ford - 91 This passed me by, and seeing it now makes me sad. I'm not a Yankees Fan, but this guy was awesome. While he battled with Alzheimer's, he was watching the Yankees play when he passed.
I can't get over this - it has been two days, and it still rankles.
I've had three deaths, in the last three months. I'm in call with a supervisor about an issue in a case I'm working on.
"Oh hey, why weren't you at the team meeting yesterday?"
Me : I had calling hours and services for my grandmother.
"Geez, I can't believe you've had three people die of Covid. It's like, insane. It's just a lot, huh?"
None of them died of Covid. And her tone... just jesus fuck, talk about insensitive.
My adhd Is full on in the genius cat. Other than the honors/etc crap, my anxiety is mostly in the genius category. But my depression is mostly workaholic with a little cryptid thrown in.
@Auspice It reminds me of the rain videos I listen to sometime, when I can't sleep. It relaxes my brain some, but it doesn't do the tingling, whatever feeling others tell me they get from ASMR.
I have had a bunch of people recommend various ASMR videos and such... now I'm wondering after hours down the rabbit hole, if my ADD nature is keeping me from finding that tingling/relaxed thing my friends tell me about.
