How about if we used Blood Potency without the need to LOSE it every now and then?

I agree. But for those going for that OWoD feel, I suspect they'd want Generations and all it entails.
Did you know that if you are known to be secretive, paranoid, and very busy, you can stay out of sight for an entire year and let the Diablerie aura fade?

Farewell Corruptionposted in A Shout in the Dark
The person posting as @Corruption here passed away late last year.
It can be easy to lose track of people online, with venue changes and name changes, and I wanted to note this absence.

Blood potency is its own thing. You want to reduce its value sometimes, Generation you never want to (and can't) give up value you have. You DO get the stupidity of creating a bunch of vampires 2 generations lower than whatever victim you can diablerize if you so desire.

Apply some adjectives and a skill rating and generate profits (the bare amount of but at least you keep flying) and surpluses like a part you may want later, and how those adjectives like Desperate, Reckless, Law Abiding, etc affect all those. So closer to a motivation and situation generator than a cargo system.

It should be relatively simple to adapt OWoD content to the latest game engine, especially if you don't try to hold onto 1% or less variance from probabilities as far as dice pools go.
Clans exist, Generations exist, keep the old goal of the Disciplines for the most part I assume.

I assume you mean real life Player Characters being the focus of #7. Otherwise it sounds like you are supposed to play yourself.

I think your races will need an element that places them outside of "just posthuman". Something(s) that mark them as magical, fantastical, not just a slightly different humanoid species.
Going with more time in theory would allow the newly returned species to have generated new cultures.
OR they could have found ways to link to their old cultures, either via hidden glens, shamanism and necromancy (literally, asking questions of the dead), or similar. -

I am very curious how long such a thing can last.
May all the good things come your way.

What if someone wanted to use the rules, and the elements of the setting, but not keep the published history?

But the new content has fast/er skinning and mining upgrades.

Ellipses are the equivalent to one expression of a comma, if you see them as needing an audible pause to sentence clear when spoken, in addition to grammatically dividing up the sentences.
Otherwise I've seen them used as a trailing end to a spoken line. "Well, you know ... "
Though I suppose that indicates something left unsaid, annnd we are back to redacted.

This is a sassy group.
Getting helpful comments is much like wrangling cats.
Sometimes you may feel you are being judged.

I suspect she is clever enough they didn't realize they were moving a body.
