I am told the Heartstoppers show on Netflix is enjoyable. I'm reading the web comic so I can't say.

RE: we theoretically can talk about arx outside the Hog Pitposted in Mildly Constructive@saosmash Could you try adding the tag Arx to this thread?

RE: we theoretically can talk about arx outside the Hog Pitposted in Mildly Constructive@saosmash Now I wish there was a way to add tags to threads, and you could have a game specific post that shows where all the threads that discuss that game significantly are. It does make me sad to see threads drop way out of awareness because they are inactive.

RE: Feet Votingposted in Mildly Constructive@warma-sheen People could easily set up their own forums. I know two people have in the past. And there are definitely Discord servers up where MSB and its topics are being discussed. All you need is an invite.

RE: Season of Endingsposted in Mildly Constructive@ganymede This is my take: He is saying that Tinuvial had a history that gave him a bad reputation, and if he perceives that he has overcome that reputation it may be because people he interacts with either do not know it, or think those sorts of actions are fine and good. Tin man thinks he can be given a heart, the Wicked Witch uses flying monkeys, a term used here sometimes to denote the image of popular folks or staffers sending proxies to defend or attack for them, here or on games or elsewhere. All of that may be in response to whatstheirname commenting on Ganymede posting, and making assumptions about the G<-->T history and relationship and what is meaningful communication between them. Or its about something else.

RE: Can't Get into a single specific threadposted in Suggestions & QuestionsMaybe related, but I just had that thread pop up as having unread just now. Stuff about the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

RE: Feet Votingposted in Mildly Constructive@icanbeyourmuse There's been several. Overall, people can ask to be banned. Someone did it 2-3 weeks ago. I don't see why anyone thinks that request would be denied. Personally, I'd just reset my password to some machine generated thing, then toss the record.

RE: Hog Pit as read onlyposted in Suggestions & Questions@spitfire The answer to your first two questions is me. The threads will open in a day or three, probably. Thats just a guess.

RE: Discord Moderator Academy?posted in Mildly Constructive@noodle-mcdoodle Setting expectations is usually helpful. Even if it was minimal, like only banning site destructive accounts. At least then, you'd know.

RE: The Dog Threadposted in Tastes Less Game'y@cobalt I really like that first image. Also, why isn't Willow a lapdog always?

RE: The Worst Thing You Have Done in this Hobby Threadposted in Mildly ConstructiveTrying to encourage someone to protect themselves, not blame themselves, and get out of a bad situation, but saying something that was easily taken to be "Did you say no?" It is easier for me to accept that I've blundered and damaged a relationship I have. This was someone who really needed support, IMO.

RE: Races in fantasy settingsposted in Mildly ConstructiveI have been told that at one time (at least European) people identified more by Religion and culture than physical traits. The Culture in Iain Banks books encompass many species and belief systems, but all under what their AI network guides think is effective or valuable. I believe they are presented as the "good culture".

RE: Races in fantasy settingsposted in Mildly ConstructiveNot directly related plug! There have been a few recent games worth looking at for their different origins and perspectives. Coyote & Crow TTRPG The Wagadu Chronicle MMORPG Into the Mother Lands TTRPG Ehdrigohr TTRPG There are more, those are just ones I have personal experience with.
