I got kicked off of Project Infinity when I was like 11 for openly shit talking somebody who wanted to give me a metal spine to support boobs each as big as my torso but idk who I played there or who that was

So that's my first contribution here in like 2-3 months

With comic stuff there are def some chars who just shouldn't be playable for various reasons

Like, some villains shouldn't be playable just because they're not chars who should always be around, like Apocalypse and Sinister and Doom

But there are also chars who shouldn't be playable because they're just inherently gross, like, Carnage who's a sexual-sadist spree killer or Empath and Daken who're basically just super-rapists

From what I've seen in my relatively short time here the vitriol here has, like, basically no impact at all in terms of damaging MU*ing, esp when you compare to all the shit that the vitriol gets directed at

Voodoo and every other African diasporic tradition includes "magic"

Catholicism, Roman and Eastern, includes "magic"

A lot of religions have "magic" in them

There are also tons of "it's-just-magic" traditions separated (however nominally) from religion, ranging from like Order of the Golden Dawn to OTO to Hoodoo/root working to Kabbalah to Gematria

I thought it was! Sorry. I played there when I was, like, ten, maybe twelve tops so I'm kind of amazed I remember anything about it at all.

They also did this thing called "Combat" that basically was Street Fighter rules as drop-in for WoD.

I only really remember this because one of the first places I ever played was a Sailor Moon game using WoD systems and the Combat book.

I'm still using SimpleMU tbh and it gives me tons of errors every time I try to just, like, leave it logging continuously

So if something happens and either its major or I can afford to just go silent I'll just dump everything in buffer to a log but depending on how long I've been connected can take 30+ minutes

Probably I should get a real client

I did end up making a char on '63 earlier today after I talked to Theorem about the Fairchild thing - it was seeing Wicked there that made me think to ask, and yeah definitely not the same player Wicked@UH told me she, like, always uses the same PB and Wicked 63's is somebody different

I kind of know she had an account here for the UH thread but I dunno if that was, like, a throw-away thing and she's got another one or maybe her husband has an account? but either way I seriously liked her and I'd love to get back in touch with her

Yeah, like, the thing about stepping discs and zero-point energy - that's shit I actually had to write on a game once plus a ton of other just absolute nonsense about how Limbo intersected timespace on fifth dimensional axes or something like that and

It was basically just a total word salad but it was LONG and it was SUPER COMPLICATED so it meant I was a good player somehow
