I don't understand the logic behind this statement at all, it just seems to give everyone who wants to be a creeper one free shot. I mean if there is a pattern that is useful in determining the level of punishment but there are very much fist offenses than need to have the boot dropped on them right away and I would say this was one of them.

yeah that's a ton of work and you're not going to find many people willing to go along with that like it's hard even to get people who are irl assaulted to go through the excoriation of a trial so why the fuck would anybody be willing to put up with it for a game?

esp when experience is pretty universally going to tell them that shit like "we need Hard Evidence" and "there's an Investigstion" are just synonyms for "lol w/e slut"

the only time I ever did any gaming stuff with other people was like a ted talk on why stereotypes exist to such a degree that people find out I've got felony arrests an eternity before they find out i still have tons of old white wolf books

orgazmo would work if it were played for jokes like the movie AND whomever playing it were, like, not just a totally weird gross creep the way p much everybody with any sort of pheromone power basically is always a weird gross creep (see literally not figuratively everybody who's ever played dakken or empath on a game)

and yeah sure if it's like major characters and they do nothing but bone then it's a problem but honestly that's no more of a problem than like anybody else doing an important char super shitty, unless it's somebody like ditko or immortal dreamer or the head guy on the place that used hitchhiker names or the kitty&wisdom couple but with guys like that it isn't a TS thing it's a sexual predation thing

i think a lot of the bias against ts on comic places is like a weird combination of 1: you get people who have like zero concept of what's appropriate in public and what's appropriate with strangers (performative lesbians, dakkens, etc) and 2: people who are basically just predators (the above mentioned crew, some who were rl predators) slamming into 3: a pb that can run a lot younger than your average game and 4: people who are like trying to relive their youth via adolescent power fantasies they're attached to and who want nothing sexual to taint their memories

you get plenty of 1 and 2 on pretty much every game sooner or later but it's their presence alongside and (let's be honest) tendency to creep on 3 and piss off 4 that ime is p unique to capes

comic places tend to have a super (oh ho) negative view of TS in an i guess aggregate kind of sense

and, like, the reasons are i guess sort of understandable- it's maybe hard to be positive about e-bangs when you're in a room of like 6 people out of character grinding on each other and super badly pretending to be women to the degree it's basically lesbian-face

but like in terms of That World stuff you're dealing with people who basically just as a rule have totally perfect bodies and wear painted on outfits and by and large have a ton of like ultra weird emotional issues that compel them to be ultra obsessive about their bodies

so idk i never really got why anybody would figure super-people wouldn't fuck like athletes in an olympic village

i dunno that's the closest i can come to constructive contribution right after work

there's this ridiculously minor like she's not even d-list marvel villain named Skein who's got, like, "fabric manipulation" powers and i decided to do a thing where she just, realized she was already a millionaire, in her 30s, and basically surrounded by people who do crime cus it's an excuse for them to cosplay in public (seriously like, her teammates are somebody wearing rabbit ears, somebody in a panda hoodie, and a hyper-evolved blue collar hippo), and just, whatever, open a shop instead

idk if it counts but a conversation about underwear for like She-Hulk style characters led to a conversation about the market for super-people clothes led to "there would definitely be shops aimed at superheroines" "yeah but basically nobody would ever be dumb enough to make a char out of that other than me and I'm def not gonna do that"

which led to me making a character out of that

TV went online only in December

tbh setting stuff is super easy unless you're doing something totally original or just, like, decided that what's really needed is the silmarillion of crossover fanfic or whatever

yeah I don't really know, like, the only things I at all remember about it are that at one point the grid was idk about 10 rooms max and also the stuff where the Wheel in Time fangirl and somebody else got the dude running it kicked
