My first reaction was disappointment that this was a post about a kickstarter and not a MU, until I got to that part, so I'm gonna go with yes. I would be interested in a MU for this. XD

I tend to be a shorter poser, 3-5 lines. I don't like feeling like I'm adding a bunch of extra fluff when I can get my point across in fewer words. Basically I started posing more like I would actually write book type stuff at some point. I still mostly refuse to throw out one-liners unless I'm with friends, which is rare because I have none. NONE.

I add in wiki tags for emphasis and it bothers me a little when other people use non wiki tags for the same purpose. I only plug in OOCish narrative bits that pertain to my own character. (Good one, Bob.)

I mostly need for people I'm playing with to give me something to work with. If we aren't interacting meaningfully within a couple poses, preferably the first two, I have no problem posing out and getting on with my life.

I don't RP a lot these days.

My debit card was compromised and someone spent $70 at a gas station and overdrew my account, which was another $35. So now I don't have enough money for my minimum credit card payment. WHY CAN'T I JUST CATCH A FUCKING BREAK I SWEAR TO GOD.

You could check out NOLA! We're Chronicles of Darkness, but fairly small so far and helpful for learning. I know there are some other people who have been wanting to play during the day, too. I don't play anywhere else right now, really, so I can't be more helpful than that, sorry!

My uninsured sister tested positive for covid yesterday after probably being exposed on July 4th, and is putting off going to the hospital despite having emergency symptoms.

My partner got laid off, too.

@aria I relate to that a lot in theory! But in practice, professionally, I would rather cultivate my intimidating aura. Which is a thing I've been told I have. In person. To my face. By a woke cisdude coworker. But, you know, as a compliment. It is now the standard to which I hold all other compliments.

I probably would have moved already, but I got a local grant to pay for the rest of my BS, so I can't move until I'm finished with it. Which should be in spring, so not too long! We should all definitely get together and do things!

I'm so fucking frustrated with the conservative half of my family. I'm a little fucked in the head sometimes, I've dealt with serious depression and social anxiety for as long as I can remember. They've had it out for healthcare, but since I'm white, clearly the help that the government offers is 'for people like me.' Then they vote for the bullshit that is 45, and my mom is telling me I really need to get my healthcare in order, but never mind that she voted for the party that's gleefully trying to take it away from a huge chunk of the population. And she can't understand how her vote, and the fundamental reasons we have different voting patterns, has seriously put a one-sided strain on our relationship. Nope, I'm the judgmental one who can't deal with other people having different ideas.

But the most recent icing on the cake was yesterday when I offhandedly mentioned to my mother in the natural course of a conversation how I'm not comfortable living in the same house as guns. Especially with people who are drunk a lot (I live with my younger, also 45-voting sister who wants to get a gun... or already got one, I don't really want to know). Later, my mom finds a poster with a gun on it that says 'Keep Calm and Carry' and she laughs about how my sister should get it because I don't like guns. I rolled my eyes, but inside I'm the weak ass fuck who doesn't have the heart to tell them that, you know, if I'd had a gun available at certain times in my life, I probably would have shot myself in the fucking head with it.

I really hate my family sometimes. And I hate myself for not being able to be a bitch to them.

I don't know if you're talking about my attitude or theirs. I don't personally have a problem with people as a general rule owning guns. Just with people like me possibly having access to them in a dark moment. And other people making light of it (albeit unknowingly in this instance).
