I have no idea what that is but I just watched it several times.

Updated - I need to play old women on more games.

RE: The Work Thread
Our district's high school is closed because they had so many cases across the building that they no longer had enough staff to keep the building running.
My building has one class out.
That one class had a single student test positive, but none of the rest of her family (3 siblings in my building included) tested positive. I'm just waiting for the rest of the Dominos to fall now.

RE: Is this hobby on it's last legs?
Ngl. Since pre-arx my Mu experience was Ansible and the 4 pern games avaliable at the time (NorCon, Harper's Tale, Pern World, and whatever the last one was), the hobby seems pretty large to me. Large enough I CAN'T play all the games.

RE: Forum wonk
I know nothing about the technical side of things - but if the board did go to a new place would we still be safe from some of the most egregious people who have been banned here?

RE: 'The Magicians' again -- time period?
I like the idea of having a hub and then places that people could go and sandbox in. I'm starting to narrow down some of my dysfunction on other games being that I have to like, get things approved, and then STAY within the confines of that approval (to be clear, I'm pretty sure I have more freedom than my mind will let me believe I have, but I haven't figured out how to get my brain to shut the fuck up and let me be free). When I don't have to get approval I would GM things WAY often and intend to do so cuz running things for other people to have fun at is MY type of fun.

RE: The Work Thread
I broke down on my boss Tuesday and she sent me home for the rest of the week. Now staring at fmla paperwork trying to decide if the extra time off will be worth the stress of missing a paycheck. It all depends on the outpatient treatment I may or may not be able to access. If I can't then I might as well go back. It can't be worse than sitting at home feeling like I'm completely beyond any ability to help.

RE: The Work Thread
Colorado just added a requirement for teachers to have 45 hours of reading instruction to K-8. My anxiety spiked until I was told my reading specialist endorsement qualifies me to skip this.
I have never been more grateful for my master's degree.

You are welcome to come crawl back into Norwood's pocket any time you need some relax. I'll try to put you among the pillows.

THANK YOU
It has been driving me insane and I knew it had to be something I'd done since it wasn't happening to anyone else.

RE: Discworld: The MUSH
I've totally lurked on the server, but I am afraid I just don't have the brain power to launch into a new world.
Once I can scramble myself I really would love to play though.

RE: Health and Wealth and GrownUp Stuff
There was zero line when I went to the post office today!
I hit it just right because in the 3 minutes it took them to finish my transaction, the line was out the door.

RE: A healthy game culture
I have to agree with @Sunny that the game can bring out different aspects of people.
The way the game is set up can absolutely steer people acting differently from the norm.

RE: The Savage Skies
Thank you! Chances are I'd want to adopt a roster first, if there is one that catches my eye. I've found it way more successful than trying to make my own thing on a new place.
