@deadculture I remember LA :A House Divided, its was interesting, though I still think RfK did it better.

Agreed. I've been in games where Nobles were the highly restricted 'group', and you basically had to play/ be around for a very long time before you got one, or had even the option of a lower ranked noble. And it was NOT a fun game, because all the 'Common' NPCs were put int this villiage and didn't interact with noblity. But you'd see like 30 + people on, and couldn't interact with them.

You were Jane Farmer, and they were Lord Smith of the Cerulean Knights, and it was a strange game.
I finally got a noble, and found out that sadly the political 'plots' were less intersting because it was like 6 characters with ALL the power.

For a Space Lords and LAdies game, make it like Dune, all the characters have a 1-3 unique things (depending on the where the story is):
Paul is the Kaerdich Haderach(WTF WORD!), Rules breaker.
Lady Jessica : has Fate Aspects of : I do it for Love, I do it for my Order, Rules breaker & What have I unleashed?
(I mean the list goes on.)

Is it. I always thought the game as written was started in AF 10, so AF 20 is a good place at least from where I stand, a full 20 years from the fall,, and an initial 10 years from the games book setting.

      But You are right.

      @omegared

I like this idea. I think perhaps using the Transhuman's 'packages' might help or the Morph Recognition Guide (like literally) to make 'bases' and then give people some ability to modify it.

Creating and modifying a Morph in the world of EP seems a smidge well not common, but not like super rare either, expensive yes, but not rare.

Also why not AF 20? for the year the MU* starts in? a full decade after the Fall.

Also are we going to be in a single massive City? (ala Firan style)? So we can have the glitzy and glam of Mars' Glitteratti and the Rusty Outback?

I think taking the rules as present in the book and simplifying them a bit might be the best, I mean I LOVE the world, but some of the rulles are CLUNKY.

Also how do we deal with the Ego & Morph seperation in the rules? ( Are we talking Firan-levels of Godcode, to make that work?)

Second Life--- is it own kettle of fish..

MUs, Play by Post (most common for boards & forums), are a good call for people who can't keep scheduled hours..

I currently have two Forums I love. :Dragon's Blood (a Black Jewel Trilogy game), excellent people, real developed characters.

And a Pern PBP. But really that's it and on an MMO, but that's like it right now.

      Space Lords and Ladies?

What about Space Religion? (If we're going with Space fuedlism, then Space Deity Space Divine Right is a THiNG (including the Psychic powers), but what does that mean for bastard offspring of Nobles, if they inherit mind powers? Do theyget Stolen in the middle of the night and taken to their 'Divine' Parent..?

Personally I am glad they went with a 'more narrtitive' ish feel, but without be /being/ super narrative.

If you want to see what I mean, RPGnet's IRC room (*No longer affiliated with RPGnet, but kept the name).
      Did a Q&A session : 7th th Sea Second Edition Q&A @ GMShoe's Office!

Backed. Wanted it. I am going to love this!

(Also 40-.00 will get you books from NOW (being hopefully Oct. 2016) until Doomsday ( sometime in 2019 judging by the amount of books and maps I am getting as PDFS).

But now this will maybe cause a good 7th Sea game to appear!

I'd like to see a reboot of Kingsmouth. I loved it, the world and hte Depth of 2.0 could be enhanced by some of the 1.0 Vampire materials for Nwod.

      Hmm. That's an excellent question.

      I'd say GURPS ( but that's heavy).
      Exalted 3rd ? Hmm?

      OVA or BESM perhaps?

Come to think of FMA would be fun, especially when you think that Risa Hawkeye isn't actually an Alchemist (Is she. I don't remember. though her Brotherhood story is DARK.

I'd love an FMA Setting! Actually with its Post Inustrial Age, WWII esque flavor. ( Come on Amestrisa is totally Germany-esque in some respects).

It'd be great. Also easily done, because you can set the game after say FMA:Brotherhood, and make the world very different.

You know "Shin Sekai Yori", would make sort of for an interesting Anime. (Since its not about the 'action, but how Fucked up Society can be... its a great show. Admitedly hever one has TK!, but its interesting, and really thrilling.
You'd need to do something to make it mushable a bit.

    • RE: Anime-Themed MUs

Its sort of in 'does not want to die mode' I was apart of 'Naruto Rivalries' it has had several 'reboots' and restarts and attempts to try and kick it back to life, but it kinda languishes, since the from what I remember, the player based ended up with : I wanna be the STRONGEST and the BEST, and if you didn't know the system (like I didn't), you ended up just being not very good. Or if you wanted an actual character progression, you couldn't go from 'piss poor fighter to interesting fighter' because all of the stuff had to applied for, via the @mail system.

It was not condusive to play,
You needed essentially a super UNDERSTANDING of the system, and themes nad how the game viewed them and creating attacks or powers or clans, required soo much effort, it was rediculous (I know because I tried, I only got 1 file implimented, on game and that was like a 'part 2' of a file without the part 1.

So that should tell you something.

    • RE: A Phoenix in Iron: A Game of Thrones RPG in Google Docs

Plausible, and not impossible to run into a game on Google docs.

Its actually fun. But I love this plot! ( putting us outside of the time of the books, Magic has been back for 200years, house Targ is dead... sort of.

Westeros may have an King who knows nothing about his country... and was raised was different values and morals. It could make for a great story.
