@FiranSurvivor I used invisionfree boards for years for various different RP games/groups, both IC and OOC boards. Easy to set up multiple levels of access depending on IC ranks, orgs etc.
Did anyone mention using the Atomic Highway - Post Apocalyptic Roleplaying system yet? It's free, and can be coupled with Irradiated Freaks (also free)
Didn't look that difficult. If I recall had rules for scavenging, crafting etc.
@Tempest Alas, The XboX 360 game was... that whole slap an FPS on every game approach, which would be fine except for tele-portation, and resurrection magic, both previously no-no's/can't happen canon in SR.
Also fuck Magic Healing Trees... because reasons.
@Coin fist shake Curse you and your taste!!
Now I have to budget in re-buying all the Death-Gate Cycle Books (been putting that off for a while now), then may as well continue the Weis-Hickman bender with Rose of the Prophet, Star of the Guardians, Darksword and throw in Mag Force 7.
Edit to Add: Oops, I didn't realize how far back that post was. Somehow I missed this topic.
Currently doing my Annual Reading of The Stand.
Before that I was going through a series on Amazon. Life After War by Angela white. Interesting post-apocalyptic quick read series. It's not for everyone though. It's got some religious tie-ins as a sub-plot. But mostly it's about surviving various bad situations, not all simply "oh shit, bombs happened!"
Before that series I started re-reading The Dark Tower by Stephen King.
I was also catching up in the Honor Harrington Series by David Webster.
I'm leaning towards Austin due to the diversity and potential.
However Boston is close behind with all the corps, the bad slums, and as previously mentioned water shipping access.
@GamerNGeek Weird. I've had MushClient for over a decade now... and I sure as hell have updated it, and had to change things around. Then there's downloading it again here and there as well... how about you bitch at the forum devs and not our forum moderators.
I do wish the topic would post to the forum top bar though. or scroll with me browsing.
No issues on Chrome at work. I'll test the laptop when I get home. No extra scroll bars for me, I don't like it, but I don't dislike it either.
I also chose to lock the menu screen open.
Edit to Add: Got upvote to work without a problem.

The same cannot be said of Google's various media applications, or Amazon's, or Netflix or Kindle or... I think you see where I'm going with this.
Just as an aside, last time I tried, you can't get access to any of your amazon videos on a non-Amazon tablet. The kindle reader is available, but the rest is locked down.
Dunno about tablets but I can watch my amazon videos on my Note4, just had to download a little player from Amazon directly instead of the from GooglePlay.

@Coin The one I got was a birthday present all the way back in 2005. Then again I haven't used it very heavily, and it was in a protective case for years.
@Miss-Demeanor I keep intending to put songs on my phone and I keep forgetting. Then again it 'only' has 32 GB storage total, and I'm also a lil' bit worried about its battery life if I use it as a player as well.
I've done this with my android phones for years now. Depends on how long you use it as a player. Due to a short in my system, I can't use my Blazer's stereo, so there sits my Note4 on my passenger seat blaring music to work and back every day. I have a lot of songs on there, I don't know 400+? I still have plenty of gigs left.
Unlike apples, you can always buy a backup battery, but it's not that necessary with a newer Samsung, battery charges in less than an hour.

Not sure if its been posted yet... But you'll all be better off on a mac.
Just saying! Windows 10 is trying to be OS X and failing, and the good things I hear are basically ports of OS X >.>
Oh Look, an iLemming! It's so cuuuuuute!
KOTOR Mush had a pose tracker, lets folks know who posed in what order and when, but it also gave the last X amount of poses if you came in late.
I find that handy just to save folks in big scenes of having to set, set, reset, and set scene some more. On the other hand, it could bring back embarrassing moments or secrets.
@Arkandel For a series? Full Metal Alchemist. good story arc with enough humor in there to keep it from always getting too overly serious. (And there are some tense serious ongoings)

.Anyway, does seem that SyFy has finally gotten the hint again. I'm excited. Love that channel so much. Or I did, anyway.
Thing to note about that is that it wasn't just SyFy, but I think CBC Canada as well. So I guess I'm just saying don't get too excited about it because of that.
There was an article somewhere from SyFy's hierarchy where they admitted they royally fucked up by changing their name and making it clear they wanted to distance themselves from their own fan base.
That said, and some time has passed. I'm in love with Killjoys, completely enjoying Defiance and Dark matter, and I'm getting back into Dominion.
Looking forward to The Expanse, but thanks to Charles Dance's little in-character-like teasers... really want to see Childhood's End.
@Misadventure Many Many Moons ago, when I worked Security at a high end gated community/country club. We used to have the keys to the kitchen. Which meant often we'd be left goodies in the fridge. Bacon was one of these things they tended to make a lot of but went through randomly.
Enter Templari's bacon sammich. Now remember, I was young, and at this point doing the constantly working out thing for work and other things. I make my sammich and the Supervisor and I go on up to check out a little TV before final lockup, and I bite into my sammich. CRUNCH It just echoes in the room.
"Jesus, how much lettuce is in that thing?" So I answered with a full mouth all confused. "lettuce?" Yeah so my sammich was bulky roll. Mayo. About pound of cooked bacon, not like a cooked pound of bacon. But already cooked bacon totaling a pound. A slice of lettuce. One sliver of tomato. More mayo. bulky roll.
He stared, demanded a bite as tribute, and told me my heart is going to explode in a year. I won!
Anyways. Bacon.
