I've tried it a time or two, but so far it's not my thing. The cold throws me off and adds to other weird texture food-issues.
I've found that sneaking things in with proteins and a shit-ton of croutons help. (Yes, I'm aware the croutons negate the good-bits of veggies and salads...also yes I know croutons are crunchy, but it's a different crunch. .... Don't judge me, people >> )
For me it's a lot of texture issues. Instant gag reflex with the texture of a lot of fresh, crunchy veggies, for example. Which is super lame, because I love a good salad. The taste, anyway. So if I can disguise the texture of things, then it is sometimes ok, lol.
But yeah, as I've gotten older, I've revisited some things, too. Bright side, found a lot of new awesome foods. Down side, found a lot of new, not at all awesome allergies (Basically anything from a tree hates me)

Completely petty and stupid peeve:
I hate mayonnaise. Almost as much as I hate pickles (which is a lot).
I hate even more when I'm eating the most delicious sandwich in the world, only to realize that that "delicious white spread" is mayonnaise.

I also agree about a twelve step program, haha. I am usually logged on for long periods of time while at work when I can't rp, just to chat, though, since I can't just text someone (or whatever) all day long.
But I totally loathe those days where nothing goes on, and you've inadvertently used the MU* to procrastinate, and then you hate yourself for doing nothing and starting nothing on the MU* and also for not getting rl things done. Cue massive amounts of self-induced stress.

Planning on getting my own art website up in a year or so, so just starting to look in to things.
I was impressed with that mini three part series... Where they were on a space ship... From the 50s or whatever. Naturally the second I need to know the name, I've gone braindead.
Anyway, does seem that SyFy has finally gotten the hint again. I'm excited. Love that channel so much. Or I did, anyway.

My inlaws live in Utah, so I've been over that way before. Need to go to California someday, but good grief, it's expenssive to go out there. Vegas is pretty fun if you like the heat!
I do not like warm weather, so definitely looking forward to curling up in a chair on the bay with a good book and a drawing or two. 60-some degree weather. So ready.
