It would be like getting Stalin-appointed to coach the Miami Dolphins.
I'm not sure what the problem is.
The problem is that I don't know a thing about sportsball.

It's October, so remember it's not "Samhain", it's:
"Sawwwwwww-when"
Yes.
But no.More like SOW-ihn.
It depends on region, and accent. I've heard both of those and 'sah-wehn' all considered accurate.
ETA: That is to say Celtic accent.

Hey Texas when I said I wanted cooler weather I didn't mean go from upper 90s to lower 50s in the space of 24 hours.
I hate this so so so much. I'm too old for that shit now.

Steal the money and use it to start unionizing. They'll thank you later.
Literally Stalin.

For all the 'hurr durr get a real OS' people:
when I reboot my Mac, it remembers what programs I had open and relaunches them for me.
Get your fuckin' Windows to do that.
Various flavours of Linux can do that. Since we're talking about using a real operating system.

"House" is a play on "Holmes" being a homophone of "homes."
god dammit
Psst.
The Lost Boys was a retelling of Peter Pan, too.
And the original Lion King animated film was simply Hamlet with furries.

I love Smartsheet so much.
What is this Smartsheet?
@insomniac7809 Naturally, CR got some flack for that deal...
@Auspice Oh, that. It's inaccurate, but mildly amusing.

By not posting properly?
ETA: Also, Australia can't see that site.
It's important to note that no way of running or playing a game is intrinsically wrong. (ETA: Within the confines of this particular discussion's parameters) It's only wrong if your view is different from those with whom you are playing.

So, like, in the spectrum between OOC puzzle-solving exercise and IC dramatics, having a rust monster shows up inclines me toward the former.
It depends on how you frame it, and how your players react to it. Which is largely the subject of the thread. Both approaches are equally possible, these days, and it's important to identify which one you're going for and which one your players want/expect.
@Ominous It can be that way. But it doesn't have to be. No system is the totality of a game.
@Auspice Wolves and vamps duking it out and mortals stuck in the middle. Sometimes all three work together. Staff are mostly hands-off.
@Alamias Was it a full-on laugh, or a derisive snort and a roll of the eyes?
A small yappy animal, that my neighbours are somehow getting away with calling a dog, has been barking for two and a half solid hours. This would not normally be an issue, except that it is twenty past one in the goddamn morning and I'm already prone to headaches.

Like, you can tell the difference between a kid that needs a hug and a moment of down-time from a kiddo who is HONESTLY SICK. It's possible.
Unfortunately, it is rare for such a skill to filter through to the school administration...
