@surreality Truth. I've no idea about the magic behind a wiki, but I can't see it being a simple thing to gate certain files off behind consent walls without... you know, going through and associating each image with a kink/theme/whatever.

A random page of nightmare fuel loading up after clicking a name?
To be fair, that's what I think of most WoD pages with a dozen weirdly-chosen images in a gallery. But I am mostly saying this for light comic relief given the... intensity of the subject matter.

@Tinuviel That's charmingly naive.
Is it naive, or jaded? It's hard to tell.

RE: Cyberrun
Just because something isn't on a blacklist doesn't mean it doesn't fit the blacklist guidelines. Just that it hasn't been added yet.
But that is somewhat beside the point. It's exceptionally difficult to establish that an internet user is over eighteen, and parents/guardians need to take some responsibility over what their children have access to online rather than relying on an internet service to do it for them.
If my child is exposed to materials I disapprove of on the internet, that's not anyone's fault but my own for allowing them to see it. I can't expect a free and open internet and also expect it to always conform to my views, interests, and beliefs.

@Pandora Yes. I said if you want to talk legal talk, the age of consent is irrelevant and the only legal angle I could think of was the production of pornographic material featuring children. That's not my stance, I don't care about the legality.
-
RE: Cyberrun
Somehow, I think your stance might not be the correct one, even if it feels like it should be.
Oh, no. My stance is that we shouldn't be associated with it. I don't care if it exists, just that it shouldn't be... here.

RE: Cyberrun
So all the arguments about 'Being attracted to anyone under the age of 18 makes you the devil' are null and void.
I mean... no. Just because something is legal doesn't mean it's right.
But that's also not the point, at all. It has nothing to do with legal consent.It does have to do with producing written pornographic work featuring characters indistinguishable from children, though, if you want to talk legal talk.

This makes me seriously, seriously annoyed.

Let's not flower the concept with terms like ageplayers as if it's something misunderstood.
To be clear, ageplay is a thing. Between consenting adults that are physically and mentally adults.
That's the difference. -

The upper thigh is also fairly common, but it's not as swift an absorption unless you're just about to start leg-based exercises.

I don't have an awesome car or dont own the new Atari system. I know some people might not think that I'm cool because I'm not down with the kids and own the new Steely Dan album.
Jesus can you stop describing my youth so accurately?

one of the problems with Twitter
I think it's one of the problems of our instant access and availability to spread rage and find echo chambers. Twitter is an avenue for that, but isn't unique.

I often find people getting upset at delays confusing.
I think this is less to do with preorders specifically, but the sheer level of hype built around many larger games. Like, I get being disappointed when a game is delayed because you were excited to be playing it soon. I totally get that. But typing rage-filled diatribes and sending death threats to level designers on twitter because your game was delayed a few months? Ugh.

RE: Worst Games
@Auspice Oh I understand their purpose. I just heavily dislike the idea. Preorder bonuses and eleventy thousand editions of a game can go jump off a cliff, though.
-
RE: Worst Games
@Auspice Preorders shouldn't be a thing.
That said, you bet your ass I preordered Cyberpunk 2077...

As a company, they have put out a lot of popular games.
I don't particularly care about this metric.
