For me, my writing style is purely situational. Smaller, social scenes are easier for me to pose a bit more lengthily while during combat scenes I tend to drop shorter poses to help keep the flow going and to make sure no one will be stuck waiting for me. I do try to be as detailed as possible, no matter what.

Damn you, 2017. Stap already! You're gearing up to be as bad, if not worse, than last year already!

RE: General Video Game Thread
I don't know if anyone mentioned this game already or not, but Papers, Please is remarkably fun. And, for what it is, it gets surprisingly complex the further into the game you get.

RE: General Video Game Thread
Damnit. I hope it'll come out on PC eventually, just because I don't know if I'm interested in enough games to make geting an XBOne or a PS4 worth the money they cost.

RE: General Video Game Thread
Since Final Fantasy XV got mentioned, does anyone know if there are plans to port it over to PC or is it solely a console game?

RE: RL things I love
This was back in the mid-80s, the summer between my fifth and sixth grade years in school. The severity of the wound itself might've also played into it as the cut was deep enough to require internal stitches as well as externally.
Never had staples. Can see how they'd be weird to have, though.

RE: RL things I love
I had stitches in my leg as a kid and had to pretty much resign myself to the fact that I was destined for having my hair washed in the sink and that I couldn't go swimming forever, which killed me since I always lived in my grandparents' pool as a kid. And this wasn't just for a few days but over a month and a half since this was back when they opted to have stitches in for a lot longer than they seem to now. I remember the joy I felt when everything was better and I could soak. I think I wound up taking a two hour bath.

RE: RL Anger
I think my nana, who hailed from Chicago originally, used a loaf pan for her meatloaf. Can't say for certain, however, as meatloaf was not something she often made.

RE: Good or New Movies Review
A friend streamed Suicide Squad via Rabbit and I have to say, it was a lot more enjoyable than I imagined. And, on top of the movie being more than I expected, Jared Leto was a most-awesome Joker. Not sure why he's getting so much hate for his acting. Is he an awesome Joker? No, not really, but he was a very good Joker just the same.

More than fair enough. It is nothing you'll be judged for by me.

@Admiral
Am curious as to why you're boycotting this movie.

RE: Mental Health and Grown Up Stuff
I understand anxiety all too well so it makes me especially happy to read that you didn't have to deal with it and it sounds like you had fun as well.

RE: Dead Celebrities: 2017 Edition
Wow. 2017 is starting out on a high point. And by high point I really mean shitty.

RE: Star Wars: Insurgency
I don't have issue with you voicing your opinion. What I take issue with is the fact that you're so willing to write the game off as a failure before it has even had a chance to really get off of the ground. Such levels of cynicism makes me sad and for many reasons, especially considering you're not even willing to give the game a try.
And is it just me or does anyone else want to tag on #AltFacts onto the end of the '72 games have tried and failed' line of logic?

Holy fuck! I wish I could help. Am glad she's alright!

RE: Star Wars: Insurgency
I find it amusing that those who do not like the concept of the game or how things are being done keep on reiterating the reason they won't play on the mu*. Just say that it is not for you, giving an explanation if you want, wish staff and the players luck if you're so inclined to do so, and drop the subject. It (usually) only takes one time for someone to get the idea.
