I saw the stage show and didn't really like it. I don't consider it a musical. It's just a series of vaguely related cat themed songs without anything to really tie it together as a whole. The lack of a story can be argued but I did say vaguely related which is all I consider it to be.

And there are people - like me - who usually keep channels turned off. One of the biggest things I hated about Arx was the lack of an OOC Room. And I don't even make a lot of use of them.

Before I saw it, I had read a comment here about the time jumps so I went into it knowing that was happening. I'm glad I did as it would have been confusing otherwise.

@Alamias It is very, very obvious that he's played the games because he nails Geralt exactly. You can't get that kind of characterization just from reading a script or a book. They better pay him whatever he wants because he is now the defining Geralt.

Years ago, during a time of immeasurable stress, I went to my doctor and asked for a Xanax prescription. As he knew what was happening, he gave it to me. I took 5 mg every day. This is the minimum dosage.

Being one of those people who try to stay on top of everything, I had researched the drug as I do all drugs I take and knew the dangers. After three months, even though those circumstances had gotten worse, I decided to just stop taking it. I think I got every side effect in the book at once.

My doctor didn't think I was addicted since it had only been 3 months and I was on the minimum dosage. He also said he didn't think it would be a particularly bad thing if I never stopped taking it. (I never went back to him after that comment.)

At any rate, I weaned myself off of it by halving the dosage every couple weeks. It's a wonderful/horrible drug and I'll never take that class of medication again.

@surreality Well, that sucks. But honestly, if he's the best they have, I'd probably just keep telling myself that he's an idiot savant on the autistic spectrum: all talent, no social ability. There must be a reason they haven't replaced him.
