Sitting inside snug and warm whilst listening to rain and the howling of icy cold winds, knowing I don't have to go out into it

RE: RL Anger
I was trying to let this lie. But fuckit. I don't expect to be treated like some special snowflake (except when it comes to healthcare) I have made, and have had made far worse jokes about my condition. From and to FRIENDS. Not people with a long history of being an arsehole to me(and many others).
I may have reacted more angrily then I should have, but still there are people I will give the benefit of the doubt too based on past history. And those I am sure are not being malicious. And then there are those who often go out of their way to snipe at me a lot of the time.
If that is a hard concept to understand, not sure what to say.

RE: RL Anger
As an Aussie I always used 'Shit-Stirrer' as someone who causes trouble on purpose, although usually more in the sense of mischievous than malicious.

RE: Ghoulage on Kingsmouth
It depends how long you give people. Weird accidents do happen. Medical things can put people out of action for a time. Either directly or too a loved one. And when that happens last priority is letting a MU* know you are going to be away. Even if you are capable of it.
So there really needs to be some mechanism for chars to return, or a long grace period.

RE: Safe Haven Harbor is seeking a few good players!
Despite having several people I thought were good friends there I wasn't invited so, eh I am being a bit of a sulky child I admit but meh. Also well burned out on nWoD anyway.

RE: Dead Celebrity Thread
Not quite a celebrity, although he did more good than most of them put together.

RE: Steam Summer 2015 sale, beware!
Kinda. The Modern Warfare Bundle. I knew they were short, but a mediocre FPS player like myself shouldn't be able to finish the single player in under 6 hours. Still it was a fun 5 and a bit hours at least for COD MW 2, cliches and all.
Still I have played Borderlands DLC longer than that.

RE: Good TV
Not sure Women of the Otherworld is a YA series. I couldn't stand the TV show as I liked the books, maybe if it wasn't for that.

RE: RL things I love
Well despite my body trolling me with headaches, increased fatigue and some loss of function on the left side my scan came in good. Not clear of course but the main tumor has shrunk very slightly and the other two are still doing nothing.
Also I have reached the point where further treatments will be subsidised. Thus saving me a buttload of money. Also My blood sugar has stabilised so no more insulin shots or testing 4 times a day.

RE: Seeking staff for a 7th Sea project
@sthanheykel I am not the best for coding, general staffing or STing, but I can descriobe well, I know 7th Sea well and would do whatever I can to get a game going. Including offering up my firstborn

RE: Good Things
Some of you may have been following the saga of the cathaport that I have been going through, which was delaying things for ages. Good news is that despite only one treatment about 2 months ago my main tumor is looking smaller than it was in October Huzzah! If it keeps going this good I may get years out of this treatment. Fingers crossed.

RE: Dead Celebrity Thread
From all accounts he was a lovely and caring man. I think this is one of the few times the death of a famous person has had me in tears

RE: RL peeves! >< @$!#
Magical herbs do not cure cancer. Vegan diets do not cure cancer. Apricot pips do not cure cancer. Black Oil does not cure cancer.
Coffee enemas sure as fuck do not cure cancer.
Sadly some cancers are, at the moment, incurable. Others have a good survival rate with Medicinal treatments. Others less so, but at least they have proof.End of the day you can do what you like with your own body, but don't encourage others to try woo-woo treatments.
Also for the love of fuck, get your kids vaccinated.

RE: Steam Buddies?
If anyone else has fond memories of Talisman you can play it online multiplayer, and I would love too.

RE: RL peeves! >< @$!#
FUCKIT it is 2015, we can put probes on a comet and space stations in orbit. Why are we still testing blood sugar by stabbing fingers and dabbing blood on a stick?

RE: Good Things
@Bobotron
Cheers. I haven't been given much longer. The current treatment is an, expensive, last roll of the dice. But until the cathaport started messing up it was going well. So fingers crossed. -
RE: Good Things
Looks like they will be able to save the surgical implant that allows for easy access to my shitty veins. No only means no more half a dozen attempts every time they want to take blood out or put something in, means the delay to the actual treatment that it was supposed to help will be minimised.
Means 2 more sessions of cleaning and rebandaging, one in the middle of a PRP, but eh Main thing is fingers crossed the cathaport stays.

RE: Crafts & Things
I wish i had more energy to cook, but been going well so far. A thermomix makes the boring parts easier though.
Tonight was an awesome success. If for whatever reason you cannot have normal pasta spaghetti squash works wonderfully, I couldn't really tell the difference between it and angel hair pasta. Also made vegetable spaghetti sauce, which was cheaty as I started with a jar, but it worked out great.
And finally a choc-berry smoothy. Even with all organic, hippy, unsweetened, low fat etc ingredients it was tasty.
Also got some breakfast muffins made for the week ahead. So all good.
