I have absolutely been hanging out in public with a boyfriend and pointed to a woman and gone 'godDAMN that woman is hot'... much to their general confusion, because I haven't otherwise ever indicated a desire for women.
That usually spirals into a discussion on how I can find women very attractive without it being my normal proclivity.

My observations of this - there is a difference between finding somebody attractive and being attracted to them.

Speaking as someone who is asexual, I find a lot of people attractive, but I have zero desire to actually smush body parts with them.

There are a couple old WoD places around which don't have the beats and stuff, and would maybe be easier to slide back into?

Can't really help with new WoD because I don't play it on mushes.

What is it about rosters that you're looking for?

1. Easy tie-ins to existing characters/plot
2. A pre-made sheet
3. A pre-designed character theme and personality

One, some or all of the above? Or something else? Because folks on the mush can probably help with some of the above, but maybe not #3.

Shit flows downhill. We have considerable technical debt to pay back at my job and there are never opportunities to dedicate resources to do so since offering new features is what gets more customers, not fixing stuff that isn't broken enough.

But here's the thing, the more technical debt you accumulate the harder it is for their services to scale up. That means as you add customers it gets harder to maintain them. It also means stuff needs to be done manually - which directly translates to people getting phone calls at 2am to fix stuff which, if they had time from the daily grind, would either be automatically resolved or wouldn't be broken in the first place.

I sympathise with you so much on this.

It would need a LOT of thinking about though. Plus, theoretically they're going for season 2, and I'd hate to set a MUSH theme without knowing the rest of the story >.>

I think there's a perception (rightly or wrongly) that someone who does this is 'making it all about them'.
I don't agree, but I think that's where the notion of not doing it came from.

I feel this so very much. Between not having much time during the week, and being in an inconvenient time-zone, it feels like all I can do is casual RP, rarely if ever events, and just doing things via jobs is distinctly unfulfilling.

Feeling a little conflicted on this one. On one hand he wasn't particularly a good person all the time, while he did a lot of charity work as is expected for someone in his role, he also made comments which were racist and almost seemed to embody the "racist grandpa at dinner" sort of role.

On the other hand he has spent his life in support of the Queen, which can't have been easy always - yes, lap of luxury and all that, but still it's not easy being in the shadow all the time.

I think I'm sad, mostly for the Queen and her family, but not necessarily grieving.

I believe it's one of these print-on-demand places; you submit designs, then when someone buys a bag or a shirt or mug or whatever with that design on, the company prints to order and handles fulfilment.
