I do not like warm weather, so definitely looking forward to curling up in a chair on the bay with a good book and a drawing or two. 60-some degree weather. So ready.There's always Washington. A fraction of the heat, lots of casinos. And rain. And going into casinos to escape the rain. And losing all your money and ending up sleeping in the rain. And worshiping the rain by mingling your tears with it as you cry yourself to sleep in a gutter somewhere with the oversized slugs and sentient mold.
Still better than Vegas' heat.

My job. Doesn't happen every appointment, but damn if it doesn't feel good to see someone walk in and report a pain level of 8, and walk out reporting a 4, and to feel that happening right under your hands.

My new co-workers.
I just started a new job a week and a half ago. I'm in the process of moving, which means people wanting money all over the place. Then today somehow /both/ the old job and the new job messed up my paychecks, so I received neither. Final move on Sunday. Nothing in the fridge. All my money gone. I was a little stressed.
My new co-workers, who have only known me for a week and a half, 'conspired' behind my back and surprised me with two /very/ full bags of groceries. They told me 'I was part of the family now, and we look out for each other'. I already liked them because while we work our asses off, they make it fun. Now, though, I am completely blown away.
I made the right decision joining the team. I couldn't ask for better people to spend 8 hours a day with. Faith in humanity, increasing slightly.

The little things my partner's job does as little bonuses for their employees. They bought passes to an amusement park for all their employees and their spouses. So tomorrow I'm going for a day of roller coasters, water slides and funky shows on his company's dime.

Or the people who watch videos in public with the volume turned up and no headphones. I, too, enjoy a good video, but I do not want to listen to yours (general you).
