RL things I love

I need to make non-US friends that will send me snack food and things.
-
It is rather excellent. Every time she visits she brings me real Cadbury chocolate and a bucket full of British sass.
-
HEY!
Will someone be my RL things I love that live in another country? Will you send me treats? I would send you treats. We could be treats friends that live in different countries so stalking isn't too real a threat. Hit me up.
I like treats.

I like treats.
Still a little real, though, right? I like a little spice in it.

If I thought it would be possible I would so do this with fast food for different regions of the US, 'cause every now and then I really crave a Whataburger and would dearly love to try an In + Out burger.
Sadly unlike snacks the fast food would not survive the mailing process. -
Mmm in n out. Though really if you want a burger, just go to Five Guys.
-
I thought Five Guys was good bit not as great as I was lead to believe now I still enjoy them and consider them a treat but not the end all be all of burgers I hear a lot of folks describing them as.
-
Hodad's. Mmmm, burger. Mmm shake.
-
@ThatGuyThere I like 5 Guys, and its fries are very good, but it's expensive for what it gives you. They're still a fast food chain, you're eating a fast food burger, yet it's priced as a restaurant one.

Not in Ohio, they aren't
You're in the Toronto area. You should be able to enjoy a Lick's burger.
Enjoy one for me!

I like the new HR director. She introduced herself as "(name) Stark. Tony's cousin."

Better than "Sansa's cousin," I suppose.

What? Five Guys here in Columbus are bland burgers at an insane price. It's like they want to be In & Out Burger but can't manage being as good, varied, or well-priced.
Their fries are good, tho.
If I want a good fast-food burger around here, I end up at Johnny Rocket's. Sure it's not a fast-food place, but it's still a good burger.
-
...now I want In-n-Out, but I... a) am too sick still, b) don't live near one.
THANKS, OBAMA.
-
No no, now its Thanks Trump.
Credit where credit is due and all that.

Over here in Dayton, the burgers are under $5. How this qualifies as being as expensive as a restaurant is beyond me.

Considering there was a pub in Sharonville (when I lived there...) where on Wednesdays I could get a baller burger for $4...

If they were more tasty than a bit of wet cardboard, I would be okay with $5. Here they have the taste of tofu being made into a burger, like the only thing it was meant to do is carry the flavor of whatever else you heap on it. To me, what you put on a burger is meant to accent the burger or to complete it.

House guests that aren't my parents. and getting to hang out with friends from online that live too far away to see regularly.
And also keeping my fingers crossed that finally life will get back to normal after pre-Christmas crazy - Christmas - loss of my other job too - helping boss turn around and get everything cleaned up and out in less than 4 days - houseguest fun - New Years - kid birthday - back to school nuttiness - giant increase in volunteer commitment.
-
I don't think the one we went to here was $5, unfortunately.
I still kinda like Checkers for burgers. It depends on the location, though; some are more/less greasepit than others and I prefer the 'slightly less'. I have to ask they leave off tons of stuff, but the meat tastes like meat, they don't skimp on bacon or beef, and that alone is <3.
I am that sensitive stomach meat and cheese person who typically has to skip on anything else, so the times they fuck up are sigh-worthy because there's no amount of wiping that will get mayo off a thing, but the times they don't screw up are <3.
