Arx has a neat system for events. THe events 'private' get a little tag that indicates it as such and only shows to those invited to said event.
@arkandel A friend says it looks really bad on mobile devices too.
@roz Ah. It was working fine for me yesterday. It just busted today. So, I thought it upgraded.
The upgrade seems to have broken everything for me. I'll edit in a screen shot in one sec.
It does this on every skin I try and the font is really tiny now.
@auspice I think @Lisse24 has a bit of right to it. More often than not I have found PrPs to be one off things that don't feel like there is anything to follow up on. So, even if you leave all sorts of hooks to get caught on people might just think it is fluff to the scene and won't really go anywhere.
I've seen that happen.. a GM has left hooks then when people follow up there's a lot of 'You found nothing.' (I've seen this on several games and in several plots run) Arx staff has even given characters of players they have banned some interesting ends but they have told players there is nothing to follow up on and that it is just ending the story of the banned player's character. (I even saw a post about it.).
So, I don't think there is anything wrong with making follow up +events, even if, at first, no one shows up. It starts creating a door or window cracked open that people can open wider and enter through.
Mind, @Auspice I don't think I've ever been in anything you've run so I can't say anything about your plots. I don't know how you run or end them. This has just been my experiences.
What @TNP said. I was considering the game until I saw that. I'm not a fan of playing 'featured' characters.
@pyrephox I was using 'tree' losely. But, you just pointed out that clues combine together to create a revelation. So, it does not, to me, seem like it would be hard to connect some of the already gathered clues to just toss a little extra on a 'rehashed' path. I'd get excited over getting more than 1 clue about something, when they are related. It could be like 'You got this bonus clue!'
@kanye-qwest /Understanding why/ is not the same as /saying/ .
ouldn't clues that has been gotten already be adjusted to give 2 or 3 that are in the same tree? Like if Joe Blow is looking into the Brightest Star' by Jane Smith has already discovered multiple clues, if not most, relating to that couldn't the new ones looking into along the same lines end up with multiple clues to reflect a lot of the legwork being done? To me.. THat would cut down on the 'outdated' and rehashing of clues and help newer (or not been played) characters feel relevant/catch up.
@thenomain I don't know, really. It's clues and story lines. I just get a lot of 'We're rehashing this stuff.' after a certain point. Because /they/ have the information but /I/ don't.
@kitteh I've gotten told that about the ones I got too. People involved with mine and her actions have told me 'Ehh. We're doing something else now. no point in going over what is done.' It's happened to me a couple times from different people. But.. I'm like 'But /I/ have not done anything on this! I want to know more!' but my bit would not question the people.
@kitteh I'd be happy to include you in on stuff I do, even if my involved character is a horrible person who does not socialize well. While the stuff she looks into usually ends up combat so I am rarely deeply involved in the 'big ends' of the plots.. I try to do as much as I can before hand. It's usually just investigation stuff or 'make this stuff do a thing', though. I don't know how much, if at all it gives for impact on things.
No one wants the guest passes? (Since @Roz still has one by the looks)
Another guest pass is up. As per previous posts, make sure to note here when you claim it so no one else tries too.

@ashen-shugar I have zero preference on code bases. I use tinymux because it is what I know. I would rather it be a code base the person(s) who know more than me like coding on.
Haha. IT was both purposefully and unpurposefully left out since I am willing to change codebases (I only know how to code on Tinymux so it is what I use). But, The @version returns:
MUX 2.12.0.3 #1 [ALPHA]
Build date: Sat Jan 21 19:10:09 EST 2017
Okay! My sailormoon game is pretty much done.. except for the code stuff. I am less skilled at such things. I am not a very good coder. I made a list of what I want. My code knowledge is not advanced enough for it. I am willing to chitchat changes too (if my stuff doesn't make sense/is confusing/is hard)
