RE: Geeky Collections
This is just my office and what is immediately around me.
The drawers below are all filled with D&D Miniatures.
The grey figures are all ones I 3d printed.
This is just one bookshelf, mostly of RPG stuff. All my WOD Books are on the shelves at the bottom

RE: RL things I love
@TiredEwok I should take a photo of our kitchen sometime with them all on display.

RE: RL things I love
@TiredEwok Yeah, just where mine are. Along with all the collectible popcorn buckets we have gathered over the years. Perk of being an AP holder (well former, they finally priced us out this year) and living 30 minutes from D-land.

RE: RL things I love
@TiredEwok Those are great mugs. I have the Porg mug and the Rancor Teeth set as well, but my favorite of the lot is the battle of Endor mug.

RE: The Work Thread
@Roz Missing closing tag? I've gotten tagged by that before, and sometimes they are hard to track down.

RE: The Work Thread
@Roz Computed values not getting computed, thus messing up dynamic content? Does previewing your template take into consideration the asynchronous loading of data?

RE: Dracula
That really bums me out. I just finished the second episode and now I'm not sure if I even want to watch the 3rd ep. I was iffy on the first ep(many parts came off more like a parody to me than a reimagining) but the second episode was really good, IMO. Bah.
I will echo Arkandel that you'll enjoy the mini series much more if you leave the third episode
I ditto that echo.

RE: The Haul
I got about 6 new board games, 1 expansion to Gloomhaven, and a video game.

RE: The Haul
@Ghost I have a copy of that. I helped kickstart that thing.

RE: Good TV
@Jaded It doesn't hurt that he is a self proclaimed Witcher fanboi, and lobbied for the role even before word one of the script was written down. He fought hard for that role, and is putting his all into it.

RE: Real World Peeves, Disgruntlement, and Irks.
@Macha Yay for job offer though!

RE: D&D Stew
I wish I could find people to play with. I run for a small group of work people at lunch, but I have one of those nice gaming tables at home and never get to use it.

Ironic choice of picture?
Pretty sure that was Tony-face one night with May.
I chose my eye roll gif carefully...

Now, that said, I think the rules about how you can't mention someone in your app/RP who is an important part of your character's background by name is pretty fucking asinine. First off, most of the support characters, like Alfred or a parental unit or whatever, rarely get apped. Secondly, if you app a character like Alfred, Aunt May, Helena Sandsmark, etc, you have to do so with the understanding that you are apping a character who is an important part of another FC's life and may have been NPCed and/or had things established in the other FC's background (like being related to the other character) and/or in RP.
I mean, I do have to kinda agree here. Not being able to talk about a character's support characters is pretty restrictive. I mean, sure, you can get around it by saying things like 'Oh I wonder if the butler has made the tea.." or 'You know my Aunt did this thing the other day..", but we all know who they would be talking about.
