Seeing a job for the parent company of the job you loved having an opening. Knowing you have friends at that company that will be willing to put in a word for you, and yet still being scared of change and not being able to pull the trigger on applying for that job because of that fear.

Doubly stupid because you already have a job so really have nothing to lose.

Then the continuing paranoia that prevents you from logging back in.

@silverfox If I didn't know any better, I would say you were my wife. Tack on chronic migraines, and you pretty much describe my wife perfectly with your description of yourself and what you are going through. Being the husband of someone who goes through the exact same thing, I have an understanding of your plight and I am sorry.
