      @aria

      And the higher-end ones (like Bobbi Brown and MAC) are just annoyingly expensive. ;.;

It's a shame MUG doesn't sell any considering how much she would use the MAC ones in her tutorials. 😞 (I know all MUG stuff is cruelty-free)

ELF has a couple colors: https://www.elfcosmetics.com/smudge-pot-cream-eyeshadow/200141.html

And I know when I went to the ELF store the girl said they were going to be expanding some of their lines this winter to compete with Fenty so....... maybe hopefully that'll be one?

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate, use a lacrosse ball or something similar to roll the knot out, and expect it to be sore for a few days. I hate these so much.

I have a foam roller (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GZXYGLU/) to help with mine. A massage therapist friend suggested these as well: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00W8XH9O2/

Bananas didn't really help. I don't get them as often anymore (my calves tend to be/stay hella tight) since I began using the roller regularly to loosen the muscles. Might help, might not! But it can help when they DO happen with loosening up the cramps throughout the day (because I know when I get one, I tend to spend the whole day achy/tight).

I was woken up in the middle of the night(or day for the rest of you normal sleeping hours people)with a cramp in my calf so bad that it woke me up and forced me to jump out of my bed and stretch my leg out.

Nothing like waking up after being in a dead sleep with crippling pain. Because I'm limping around my apartment going 'ow ow ow ow'.

Those suck so fucking hard. 😞

As someone who is bi, the way it is done is what bothers me. That's what is upsetting me.

If it was done well. Written well. Woven in well. I'd be more comfortable /OK with it. It just feels wedged in. And I feel uncomfortable looking away in that "Well it's horror" way.

I'm glad they're being called out. They should be.

Write horror. But write it in a respectful fashion.

EDIT: Posted this while p. mad, little too much personal info.

Basically, didn't get a position I had been lead to believe I would, someone else got it and I don't think they deserve it, blah blah.

      Whatevs.

I'm dealing with that at work right now myself. The guy who got it (and is now our boss 😐 ) doesn't even know the job, either. It's a hard place to be in. I'm sorry.

Zak S. hasn't worked for them since he wrote the We Eat Blood game and consulted just prior to WoD Berlin (which was almost 2 years ago). He hasn't been hired to freelance anything since then.

The person leaving is Tobias, who was announced leaving a couple of months ago, but no new CEO has been announced.

Oh I know. It was a separate statement. Like, it seems getting rid of Zak S (back when they did) didn't fix all of their issues.

I've heard good things about it.

How it is uh, injecting yourself?

Very easy, only hurts a little. (On the migraine sufferer pain scale, the pain doesn't even register.)

I am admittedly not a fan of needles, so I'm always antsy about things where I have to stab myself. >.>

But if it helps the migraines and the doctor is willing to try it (I'm gonna be very pushy to try a new medication and not just bump the topiramate since doubling the dosage didn't work)......I'll give it a go for sure.

Sometime in September, the migraine meds stopped working. Went from that wonderful 'only 1 or 2 a month' back up to the '4 to 6 days a week' schedule.

Saw doctor sometime in early October. Had my meds doubled.
I was hopeful by the time the adaptation/initial flood of med-symptoms wore off that they would help.

      Nope.
Seems I've become immune to topiramate.

I've been just struggling through work most days , but I had to stay home today. The vertigo has been too bad to be able to drive. I've just been napping off and on. Downside is the earliest appt with my doctor that fits with my schedule (thanks to holidays) isn't until the first week of December. 😐

You guys, the new She-Ra and the Princesses of Power on Netflix is amazing and fun for a girl and a boy. Or kids and adults. The animation is exquisite and the storylines and character development are refreshing.

I was expecting it to be good. A (male) friend of mine was regaling me with how, when he was a kid, She-Ra was exactly what he needed. How HeMan was too 'much' (in his opinion) in the camp of "let's mostly just preach lessons at boys AND sell toys" and how when She-Ra came out, it actually told stories and had realistic scenarios and while 'aimed' at girls, it engaged girls and boys both because of that factor. Which was why he loved She-Ra as a kid. He said the new one does exactly the same thing and he's been loving it for that exact reason.

I haven't had a chance to watch it yet, but I'm really looking forward to when I get to sit down and do so.

I really love how you can go to the marketplace, qualify for a certain amount of help towards a premium. And then STILL be paying over a hundred bucks a month for a single person with a 6000 dollar deductible. Like....isn't it just cheaper to pay out of pocket unless something really, really, really bad happens? 'cause I'll never spend 6k a year for just going to the dr when I get the seasonal crud.

It's painful because... the marketplace will sometimes suddenly change your cost on you. That was the hard lesson I learned. 😞

I mean, yes, it's helpful if you HAVE to have insurance, because paying for it raw out of pocket was absolutely out of the question... but then I had to just drop it entirely because when they got ahold of me and went 'oh btw we've decided to charge you $400/mo instead of the $300/mo (for the barest minimum cheapest plan you were on)' I had to go...... oh, I can't afford it at all anymore 😕

thankfully my job moved me from contractor to employee a couple months later and I was able to get on THEIR insurance which, for top-tier plan, I pay just shy of $200/mo total (and also get vision/dental).

But yeah, the marketplace still needs......a lot of work.

That is my biggest advisement: whatever you get, still make sure to keep something in your budget just in case. Because they might audit you and decide oh, hey, we're gonna start charging you more now.

Seems a kind of half-assed apology and I imagine the next book will be just as bad, but at least there's something. Seems they need to get rid of more than just Zak S.

Not gonna lie, but the fact that you can play a woman means a lot to me.

A woman who is so smoov with other women at that.

Those two and 'robot-hunter girl' are my library atm. I haven't tried the hunter girl thing yet. (I always forget the name of that game.) Was only 20$ so grabbed that, tho.

      Sounds like Horizon Zero Dawn.

You need to drop what you're doing and play it, if so. That is probably my second favorite game of all time.

This is the other game that I mention when people are all "but why not xbooooooox"

The reasons I need a playstaton:

      Horizon Zero Dawn
      Last of Us
      RDR2
      Spiderman

I am jonesin' for that sale to kick off Weds night next week so I can mash the buy button on Walmart's website. I won't get all four at once. I mean, a) moneh, b) I've already got plenty of games. It comes with Spidermens so I'll be set for a while at least and I'm digging on Destiny 2 pretty good right now.

      I really, really like Odyssey.
I barely played AC beyond 2. The others didn't really "do it" for me, but Odyssey does. I really dig it a lot.

Admittedly, I haven't played much since I got Destiny 2 (yay free), but Odyssey gave me those same sort of feels I got from 2. The same puzzle solving, the same sort of wall-scale-jumping and assassination joy.

I love it. I definitely don't get the MMO grind-y feel out of it and I am someone who will drop an MMO in a hot second for hate of the grind.
