My local rite aid sells a selection of personal lubricant that would make a sex shop proud but does not sell any fucking aloe vera! I guess when I burn myself or get a sun burn I just put some f'ing lube on it. That'll help right?

@Cobaltasaurus mentioned the possibility hers miiight be it I think?I have no idea what I'm doing, if I'm doing anything. All I have right now is a GMC CG installed (and it presumably works) with the same code that Eldritch is using for it and nothing else (no theme, no setting, no life, no love. I do have a freaking awesome limbo tho.)
That said: Even if I were to do a single-sphere game it wouldn't very likely be at all like RfK. Since that game sounded basically like the antithesis of fun to me.

RE: Shadow War - WoD Mage-Only (Revised)
I have a friend who doesn't mush but is really interested in this project, but wants to know for clarity:
This will be using the Ascension traditions/factions just put through the Mage translation guide? (e.g. There will be Void Engineers, Technocracy, Celestial Chorus, etc?)

Get a toddler. I used to think that my wife and I dirtied too dishes. Now with my daughter we pretty much use almost all the spoons up in my house just in one night.
I lived in a house with three children, all under the age of 5. That house was kept in better condition. Yes, children use dishes more but the dishes were done on a daily basis than more than one just one (normally my boyfriend, but I do them as well but not as much -- though I think since I'm not in school right now it's at the point where my boyfriend and I both do the dishes each day, and yet some how they are never clean).

RE: RL Anger
I did all of the bowls (that were in the public areas of the house) last night! LAST NIGHT! So why the fuck are all the goddamned bowls dirty again? How in the fuck do two people go through ten fucking bowls? What the fuck are they doing?

@Cobaltasaurus Are there children in the house? That's generally how my dishes end up not in the dishwasher. Kids rinse and dump in the sink and run off to play.
No.

RE: RL Anger
There are no dishes in the dishwasher. So.
Fuck the fuck are there dishes in the goddamned sink?

RE: Skins
Oh, not sure if it's a skin thing or not (either!) but when I read from my phone now the entire screen is white, and I basically can't see the text.

RE: Recipes!
Gluten Free Garlic Chapati-style Flatbread
I used a chapati (roti) bread recipe to make some gluten free flatbread (recipe here).
- 2 cups of all-purpose or "baking" gluten free flour (usually a mixture of different types).
- 1 teapson of salt.
- 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon of onion powder
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- ~3/4 cup of hot/warm water.
-
combine ingredients save water into bowl. Pour hot water over bowl, mix together with a spoon. You want a soft, but slightly stiff dough but not sticky. Add more water if needed.
-
Knead/work dough on a lightly floured surface until smooth or until you have a texture you light. Divide into ten parts if you want small pieces, or less if you want larger pieces.
-
Let sit for about half an hour while you make the rest of your meal, or have a nap!
-
After letting the balls rest, flatten them out. I suggest using an actual rolling pin and getting them as flat as you can without causing them to stick/fall apart. I don't have a rolling pin so I used a plate to press them down.
-
Get your pan really hot, and put in a little oil or butter (whichever you prefer, note butter burns easier than oil). And then cook your little round doughy discs of goodness for about 30-60 seconds on each side (depends on how hot the pan ins), you want to look for dark burn (but not black) spots on them.
-
Enjoy with some sort of meat and sauce!
(Next time I make some I'll take pictures.)
NOTE~
If you don't have a wheat allergy or celiac's I suggest just following the recipe originally linked-- you can just add the garlic and onion powder to it. The recipes are essentially the same, mind, save I added the powders and used gluten free flour. This recipe isn't better 'cause it's gluten free, it's just better for me -- since wheat makes me want to disembowel myself.
Note, jr so of Note~
If you don't get the bread flat enough you will occasionally taste the dough. Which is not a completely pleasant taste. So make sure you get them nice and flat before you cook them.

RE: Building: A Basic Tutorial
I had someone go through the guide for the room parent, and they let me know that things weren't working the way they should. I went through and fixed it! Turns out you want %! rather than %#. ^^;

RE: Star Trek: Typhon Accords MUSH
Well!
I checked things out. The players all seem super nice. I haven't made a chargen yet, but it seems like it might be fun.

Bente@FallCoast
Does anyone know how to get a hold of Bente-player? The Thyrsus players elected her as a sentinel because we knew she'd been talking about it OOC, but she hasn't been on in a couple of weeks. If anyone knows how to get in touch could they ask her to log in and let us know if she does still want it or not?

RE: Shameless self-promotion, part two?
I tossed your patreon link out onto twitter. Not that I have very many followers (at all). But what I have has been told about your patreon! :}

Q: How far away from earth is the city?
A: I haven't thought about that at all! Does it matter? Or is it just curiosity? If it matters, I'll think up a number. Heck, I might think one up anyway just so it's there.
It matters in-so-much as gravitional forces, spatial debris, climate, etc -- all of which you basically answered with "magitech" or "handwavium". (These are not bad or wrong answers, mind. Just make the answer to this question very like to be: "Second verse, same as the first."
)

RE: Shadow War - WoD Mage-Only (Revised)
The main things that comes to mind is--
What, other than mirrors into other realities, keeps the sleepers from figuring out what's going on?
What happens when someone drives too close to the city limits (edge of the world)?
Is the city now orbiting the sun as it floats in space?
How do mages explain the changes in the constellations that would cause?
What about spatial debris? (e.g. Pluto got reduced from planet to dwarf planet because it doesn't have enough mass to completely clear things from its orbital path. How do mages deal with spatial debris the city will come into contact with?)
How far away from earth is the city?
The other cities?

What plays well together and will eventually have a 2.0. AND will have something that can be tied toward cross-sphere.
Mage as a game plays well with most things. Mage players don't always, and non-Mage players frequently don't.
Vampire ... doesn't have anything.
Finally, a convert.

(Cobalt should like this; it's from Welcome to Night Vale. Hell, did someone mention a Werewolf merging of the Strix, a la Pentex?)
Look. I don't have enough night vale shirts from the official store as it is! Stop giving me things to buy sir.
