Do you have a room parent already? That's the first thing we can edit really fast so you can at least get that in room descriptions. Plz to paste the room parent info here, and I'll give you an edit.

Code Requests
So I had a thought. Why not have a place for people to post up: "I need something simple!" requests to us flakey little shits (<3 @Chime). So here it goes:
Do you need +lock, but don't have one? We might be able to help.
Do you need a +who that lists something different than the standard Name/Alias/Sex/Idle/Conn/Location?
Do you need a +Where that doesn't make your eyes bleed?
Do you need a simple +housing/+directory code?
Do you need a simple +dice code?
Etc.
Requests should have as much information as possible, and should not come with any expectation of turn around or actually coming to fruition. I'm more than willing to take simple code requests, but I have roughly 75hrs a week dedicated to school work, and I'm thinking of running another MUSH if I ever decide what I want to run.
So I'd love to code simple things for folks, but it might take a bit. OR I might do it in a single night, depending on complexity/motivation.

Nightvale Inspired Game
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Why didn't I think of this earlier? So I've been going back and forth lately "Open that shifters game, or open GMC Changeling again." And then I had a thought just now: What would I really love running? A world like the one out of Welcome to Nightvale. Probably not actually Nightvale itself, but something along the lines of it. Where the world is fucking weird and the people from the city treat it as normal, but have to deal with weird crap all the time. (Also kind of like Haven).
My thought was I could this as a M/M+ game, where things are just weird. Or I could this as a Mage game where Paradox and the Abyss has gone completely bonkers.
Would anyone play it?

RE: Archive
@il-volpe I can write you up an incredibly simple +directory code. I used to do something like that on DW for the various apartment buildings that were there. In the 'main room' of the apartment building there was a +Dir code. It listed who lived in what unit. It did it by telling me if the exit into the room was @chown'd to someone. I could always change this so it picks up a 'resident' or 'owner' flag.
Do you want it to be basically a private listing that staff sees? So you can do something like: +dir or +housing and pull up a list of all residences and who owns them / if they are available?

@Seamus - this is awesome. Culinary school is on my list of "things I'd love to do as idle rich, but don't want to do for a living because exhaustion. Do you work as a chef or baker, or just do it for fun?
I was told to go to college. So I got even by going to culinary School. All I wanted was a couple of months off. I did it just for fun basically. I'm in the tech field.
I am going into the tech field, and very occasionally I contemplate changing my major. But I remind myself I am doing the college thing for a job (one I can stand), not for awesome fun.
Crafts, drawing is fun. Making them my living would ruin it for me I think. Except writing. I love it enough I could make tgat my life's work.

RE: Transparency
Mock court hearings would be awesome. In the way watching Jerry Springer is awesome.
That said, I think explaining your decisions about rules and such is a necessary transparency. Disclosing punishment is probably not.

@Cobaltasaurus That skirt is NOT what I pictured when you said tie dyed. That is infinitely way more awesome. Now I kinda wanna do that!
Again, phone makes it hard to double quote, thank you! I really like how the dye came out. Unfortunately it does match the tunic I made it for. I got a purple tunic for xmas, and don't have alot to wear with it. So I decided to make a black dye tie skirt.
Unfortunately the black dye separated out into navy and a teeny tiny bit of purple, so it doesn't go with the tunic.
I am not sure if it did that because it was an ice dye, or if the black dye just does.
An ice dye is where you layer ice over your material-- tied into whatever pattern you want --and then you coat the ice with dry dye (e.g powder). As the ice melts it dyes the fabric. Of course it was so cold the fabric froze and the ice didn't completely melt.
I have a bag I tried to ice dye with circles, but it us mostly white, so it needs to be dyed again. Trying to decide between pink or purple.

@Cobaltasaurus - That is really beautiful.
As for my contributions - I cook, and I bake. And I crochet sometimes. And I brew - cider, so far, but probably branching into mead here directly.
Replying late, phone makes it difficult to quote multiple people. Thank you! What sirt of cider? Apple or anything added? I'd love to try making apple/pear cider some day.

RE: Torchlight 2
On steam I am BADASS FIRE SPIDERANT. I think I am cobaltasaurus rex, on torchlight2. I likely won't be on tonight. The second bus I take was just leaving as the first bud u take got to the transit center.
So now I spend the next hour reading for my online class, by the time I get home I will need to make dinner and do homework, and be a boring responsible person.

RE: Torchlight 2
@Alzie: Mon=Thurs I should be home by 8:3opm EST. It depends on buses being on time, etc. But I think I'll be home by 5:30 my time, 8:30 your time. So, uh, I guess any of those days around 8:30 or 9:00 ET/5:30-6:00 PT?

RE: Torchlight 2
@Alzie Sure! Lets set up a time! I'm starting classes again Monday but have Fridays off.

I spin between poses at times and people now get to think that is a euphemism instead of the knitting between poses.
Hehehehehehehe. >:3
Also, you'll have to give me sewing tips sometime. So far I've only "mastered" the heart of the square/layered skirt with an elastic waist band.

I'm also into baking and cooking.
I like to bake and cook as well. The last thing I did recently was to make chocolate pudding from scratch. It was good! And surprisingly easy. I do gluten free peanut butter cookies sometimes. But otherwise baking a lot of things requires way too many things. I like simple recipes. >_> Like 5 ingredients!

Don't know if it qualifies as crafty, but I do wheel pottery and fire raku style.
Definitely counts! What sort of things do you make?
@October said:
I may as well list all the crafts I DONT do rather than do, but school and moving has are my face so it's all boxed up.
That's unfortunate.
I say post pics though!
This is definitely not professional quality, but I like it. I dyed it myself, and sewed ... stitched? I did the sewing myself.
Unfortunately it is a little bit short, so it'll be a skirt + legging skirt, definitely. Unless there's someone out there shorter than me with about my waist size who wants it.

Crafts & Things
I'm kind of surprised we don't have one of these. And didn't on old WORA. I know of a few of us who do crafty things.
Anyone got any craft-hobbies they want to talk about? Recently I've picked up tie-dying, and sewing. I made three pillow cases last month for christmas presents, and before that made a skirt for myself. I've tie dyed a handful of things.
The lastest project being a galaxy dye in black (though there's a lot of blue and purple that came out from the black dye), that's slated to be a skirt.
I've contemplated picking up knitting at some point, but I'm not sure I'd like it. >_> Sewing can get tedious enough.

RE: Alzie's Playlist
Petra appears to have issues with other females. Or other female characters. It seem hit or miss, though. She never had any issue when my wolfblood (female) was in the same pack as her werewolf. But later as Petra she made it really, really hard for me to app in as a 50xp plain wolfblood.

RE: Dragon Age: Inquisition
@October I'd suggest going back to the Hinterlands for a little bit, if you haven't, and doing any and all the sidequests you can find-- it may require running past some level 12 rifts to find them. You can also grind out requisitions to get some XP.
There is also always lowering the difficulty to casual for the fight.

RE: Torchlight 2
@Coin Cool! I really like it so far, especially since it runs on my macbook air, which cannot run too many current games. (I /think/ I might be able to get away with WoW but that's questionable.)
