Plus, I mean. I admitted to downvoting you. Right after I did it...
If you don't shape up I'm gonna downvote you again. That will teach you not to do things.

@surreality You didn't come up in my reasoning at all. This reboot's staff has been problematic. Not for you. For friends of mine.
That said, I won't be spreading negativity in this thread. I just wanted to offer a dash of a compliment with my little backhanded comment.
...the Irish. Buncha drunken leprechauns is what they are.
I used to feud with all the LaXers back in the day.
It got so bad, once when I was flying over Lacrosse I found myself wishing I was in a bomber, not a commercial flight. Heh.
@Derp Absolutely. I'm not criticizing it. It's your game and your staff and you choose who plays there and who doesn't.
Some of those Metro 1.0 names ring a faint bell. I can't even remember who I played that far back though.
Hunter with character loss is something I've been wanting for a long time.
@Aria I hate to be 'that guy', but men are sexually harassed and assaulted as well. It might not be as prevalent as with women but all abusers should be called to account. Not just those happen to abuse women.
I'm sorry that people don't like me.
Not for my sake. I'm sorry for their sake. Because I'm awesome.
Mortals/+ is way more boring than Hunter.
I think you'd see interest in a game drop off significantly if you went that route.
Mark Ruffalo can't carry a movie anyways.
He's about as bland as a potato.
Things are scarce in Fallout because most of the people don't have plot armor. They aren't protagonists. If they go out to scavenge for forks, they wind up dead.
Sandra Bullock. She knows what she did.
@tek I've wanted to do a carnival nWoD Changeling game for a while. Not the same thing but...
I looked around at the place and there's two things that I think hurt an otherwise fine game.
1.) Lack of consequences. It's made clear that PCs can't die unless they want to die. In a survival setting like this it invalidates a lot of the risk. Even a super low risk of death from the environment/NPCs/plots/etcetera would help.
2.) A senate. Nothing kills a game faster than a government that involves PC voting. If you guys go that route I give it a couple months before you suck your game dry.
Aside from that I think you've got potential. Keep on trucking.
The scene in Saving Private Ryan when the German slowly stabs the American to death going 'Shhhhh', if I recall. Or something like that.
That disturbs me to this day.
It's a fine game. I left because of clashes with a certain staffer but I remain friends with a couple of the headstaff running it. Wyrm is a good ST, so I recommend the werewolf sphere.
I don't feel that anything I said was refuted by any of the replies, however I have nothing against the game.
I'm just stating what I've seen happen to similar games over the years. Maybe this will be the one to buck the trend. That would be awesome. It would be really nice to see more non-WoD games around even though I do love me some WoD.
Player senate/council/etcetera? It sucks the life out of games. Couple that with a lack of risk of PC death outside of people who choose to die and you've got a big, safe bureaucracy.
