My bad. I was under the mistaken impression that Mages were more powerful than other splats.

I was wrong in believing that in the past, Mage PCs joining plots with other splats tended to take them over with their higher power levels.

I was wrong in believing that on games with metaplots, Mages tended to take over them in both owod and nwod.

I was mistaken in believing that a spirit mage was better at doing things in the spirit world than a werewolf.

And Death mages aren't better at dealing with ghosts than everyone else.

And Mind mages can't effectively shut down all forms of mental attack from other splats.

And all those Legacies that I thought were OP because they gave crazy effects without technically being magic? Nope, they weren't OP either.

Mage isn't overpowered.

You can -totally- kill a Mage who for some reason forgets their hanging spells, is asleep, and somehow fails the difficult to fail rolls to avoid being surprised.

Adding Mage?

I'd rather have a dozen creepy skeezeballs on a game than Mage.

The same thing happens to me all the time. People constantly confuse me for other people.

I let them get me confused though. Because I'm a way bigger asshole than the people they think I am.

@Thenomain I just watched to the aforementioned trailer with the aforementioned song overlaid. It actually improves it.

Whenever I have a female teammate on a game, I treat them like I treat everyone else.

I constantly insult and belittle their skills and attempt to micromanage their gameplay while making personal/racist attacks against them.

If there was a more PvP element, I suspect you'd get interest from that side as well.

Games with PvP allow you to avoid PvP by simply avoiding conflict with your fellow player. They appeal to a broad audience as long as you can ensure people's safety that do not wish to involve themselves in it.

Games without PvP do not allow you to PvP. It cuts off that whole portion of players who want to compete against other players.

It's something to chew on.

It's a shame that people take 'PvP is allowed' and 'if you PK, let's make it drama free' and turned that into crying about it being a PvP game.

Being told that I need to 'Find Jesus'. Having a person sabotage the workplace, then take pictures of their own sabotage, then take pictures of me and send said pictures to the bosses to try to get me fired.

And the worst of all... REPEATEDLY BEING TOLD THAT THE PERSON DOING THIS IS JUST A SWEET CHURCH LADY WHO NEVER HURT ANYONE AND THAT I AM WRONG HOW DARE I SLANDER HER.

I'm Agnostic. I would never judge someone for their religious beliefs regarding the creation and maintenance of humanity by potential Creator figures.

That being said? People who believe in invisible goobs floating around watching us or interacting with us? That's paranoid ignorance leftover from the dark ages before science.

So I bought this game and have played a round or two of it.

It seems really fun. But like the kind of game that would be even more fun with friends. And voice chat while you play.

Does anyone else have it? Want it? I'd like more people to get hunted by.

And then having to listen to people joke about us going on shooting rampages.
