We're all pretty terrified of Trump here on the 'Libtard' side of things.
But losing land is pretty close to the top of the 'shitheel things Trump could do' list.

From what I read they were talking about privatizing tribal land in order to give companies easier access to natural resources under the guise of 'greater tribal control'.
Because giving individuals control over the land is -totally- the best way to protect the interest of the entire tribe and the last attempt was the 1887 Dawes act which didn't end with the government repossessing the land from the natives and parceling it out to 'settlers', right?
(Hint: It totally did.)
I delete close to 90 percent of what I put on here. Granted, I do it before I hit 'submit'.
The last time I got called in for a jury, I wasn't selected.
But the big ol' fat redneck who said he wanted to 'fry that sumbitch' during the jury selection phase did get picked.
Mmmmm, Southern Justice.
If I was going to do a Supernatural MUSH I'd just set it in like, the 1980s. And make it based out of the road house.
I am aware of the connotations of pillowfort on Soapbox/WORA/SWOFA and attempt to use the term as accurately as possible.
I'm trying to trim down my hyperbole.
If you don't like @Ghost's comments? Ignore them.
I'm certain the people who ran The 100 don't need more people buried up their buttholes.
...or maybe they do? I won't judge what people do behind closed doors.
Pointing out facts is now being a hater.
Defending your arguments is now being salty.
We're living in a meme culture.
Random Guy: I didn't like 'The 100' for these reasonable reasons.
Fanboy: YOU ARE A CREEPER!
Feels like WORA.
Tropico 5 and (I think) all associated DLCs are for sale on Steam right now for $9.99 total.
That's stupid cheap. It's not the most amazing game from what I hear, but if you enjoy Tropico games it's a steal at that price.
They singled you out and treated you nicely because they wanted to be able to prop you up and say 'See? This person likes us! We can't be doing wrong!' They picked you to help be their enabler. I'm sorry, Cupcake, but they very much are making you their patsy.
VASpider has/had the same modus operandi and just about everyone on this board who dealt with her can verify that statement.
@Miss-Demeanor said in The 100: The Mush:
And now, to all those that nay-sayed me when I said this is exactly what was going on, and was told I was overreacting and that things were fine and it was just me (waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back before Grounder PCs were even allowed!)....
I TOLD YOU SO!
Ahhhhhhhhh, that feels better.
It feels good to be so right, doesn't it?
I do have sympathy for the people who stuck around on the game but hopefully this is their opportunity to find something new and wonderful to experience without the dynamic duo nonsense to ruin it.
I've heard good things about Dystopia. Fallcoast is huge and you can probably easily find a clique to play with. Arx seems to be popping and is a safe haven for Firan refugees.
There's plenty of RP opportunities out there for 'The 100' ex-pats.
@Kestrel Nope, but I know people who played there who stuck it out 'for the RP with their friends' who would complain to me constantly about the nonsense going on there. If you'll check back with what I posted previously in this thread I believe I said as much.
I also played briefly at SerenityMUSH and Firan, so I can say with confidence that the word I got from The 100 was in line with what I've experienced on married-couple run games.
I'm sure they'll make another game where their characters star in every plot and similarly run it into a quagmire of nonsense when they get bored of being the Big Damn Heroes.
When you come to the problem of 'how many cats', the answer is always 'more cats'.
Mine's not so bad. The medical stuff is less than 500 dollars, and the identity theft seems to be purely vehicular? I'm not sure. I keep getting parking ticket and speeding ticket notifications for other states I've never been to.
And the vehicular stuff is less than 250 bucks total.
I'll give a little more if you still need the money next month, but this month my budget is tapped out.
I donated. I would have given more but I'm tapped out right now with a lot of medical/vehicle bills of my own. Also some identity theft issues.
To those on here who are on the fence about giving? 10-20 dollars goes a long way, and if everyone pitches in a little bit I'm sure we can knock it out.
It's sad, but as this hobby gets older we're going to keep losing people. We may not notice it at the time, but every one of us that we lose is just another piece of our hobby, and our lives, gone forever.
However big or small that piece may be, the whole is still lesser for losing it.
Rest in peace, Corruption.
