So fuck you to the guy who 'fired a warning shot' into the unconscious person you didn't recognize while they were being carried by others.
Whaaaaat?

I don't have a problem with this. I mean, yes, the character will require some essential changes, probably to stats and such, between one game and another (assuming a game using stat systems) but I've brought characters from one game to another. And will probably do so again.

Minor peeve: I'm still not over the demise of 16:10 monitors. SO MUCH VERTICAL REAL ESTATE, LOST.
Major peeve: halfway through laser hair removal. Zero noticable reduction in hairs. And it's not just me who says as much. Gonna go see if I can meet with the doctor to discuss options. I don't have money to spend on shit that doesn't work.
Major major peeve: I can't use minoxidil.
Feel those feels.

from a generation or two ago
Speaking of 'useful stuff for photography from a generation or two ago', you know what I miss? Matte screens. Seriously, when doing color work on the laptop, even a tiny angle adjustment can make it look a different color. I never know what color a thing actually is anymore. With the matte screens, I didn't have to worry about that.
I can't even find these as a custom order thing anymore.

@Rucket Yeah, the problem was the skill inflation. Episode 4 Luke, as in "the farm boy from Tatooine", had skills and stats better than ANY starting character could have. Ever. Hell, he had stats better than characters who had been playing for quite a while.
Well he is the chosen one, after all.
Editing because late to the party and my reply is no longer relevant. Yay for fixing things with management!

Real World Mild Annoyance of the Moment: Routers should respond appropriately to threats of physical harm.
I would say that, given a router acts more like a single entity in multiple bodies, where any number of them are ultimately disposable, it' s doing just that.
Sorry to hear that your RL is still going all to crap.

@Thenomain ilu but you know my role is to remind you of simple solutions. If not elegant solutions. Sometimes simplicity wins over elegance.
There are also differences in Werewolf and CHangeling and Vampire Touchstones. Werewolf touchstones are not, and IIRC cannot be, bought. You just either have them or you don't, and are limited to one of each type.
I want Days Gone, like, right now. Now now.
But I should also finish Resident Evil 2 first.
God. Decisions.

Put them in a scene, and violence and death ensues for one or both sides. That's why we don't allow them in chargen.
This seems to be how it works for just about every antagonist faction, whether or not overt violence is written into their theme. Mu-ers take it into overtly violent levels at the drop of a hat no matter what game system you're using. With something like Reavers, I can see that getting turned up to 11 fast. 'WE MUST PURGE THE GALAXY OF THIS THREAT EVERYONE GO!'
Apparently most of the damage is to the roof and spire. They released interior images earlier. It's not as bad as it could have been.

Not a celebrity, but Notre Dame is on fire and has been for several hours.
Yeah, it's not looking great
I'm still unsure what this is supposed to do exactly?
More specifically -- get takes some predefined variable that you've set on the game (or set through /set) and recalls it. What is variable 0 here? When was it set? It's not one that has a predefined meaning in Potato.

That sounds lovely.

I can't remember if Cena is Raw or Smackdown
I thought both? But admittedly I am not a huge fan. Mostly had friends that were.
Mutant here, too. My nerd-dom was not created, it was bred. My mom was always a fan of the weird. My childhood entertainment was Nightmare on Elm Street, Evil Dead, Pet Semetary, It (loved that freakin' clown). And I have always been curious about just about everything, just like she is. I would dive into everything, tear it apart to figure out how it works, and unlike some parents who might have gotten mad about that, my mom encouraged me (while also showing me ways to remember how it goes back together).
Needless to say, I read a lot of fiction. Nonfiction. Ancient stuff from my grandpa's library. When I discovered the hidden language of math and the magic formulas of physics, combined with all the sci-fi I could handle, it was a lost cause. Event horizon passed.
