I love Momoa, but that role is reserved for Ron Perlman.

I just watched Into the Spider-Verse, and my mind is blown.

It is as great a revelation as The Dark Knight was.

      Probably the best Marvel movie.

The math behind your system is quite relevant to the discussion, even if you don’t think so. Understanding the marginal benefits of how each factor is actually helping me figure out how to best build a PC.

At some point, the fellow using math and numbers to demonstrate something is just going to stop doing it, and frankly I find the math far more interesting than 90% of the responses thereto.

Yes. I don't honestly find this kind of display very constructive, because the projected margin is so slim it's in 'who gives a damn' territory, but is presented in a way that all but begs for interpretation by people who don't want to math out the systems as "oh no if I don't do this right I am at a big disadvantage".

I see it the same way Pyrephox did, and I like the number-crunch. All I'm seeing is that there isn't really much of a difference, so it's not worth getting my knickers in a twist. That's encouraging, not discouraging.

I liked it just fine as well. For me, it was an expose into rural America's oh-so-nutty spirituality.

I'll definitely be watching Glass, even if it's likely to end in sadness and disappointment.

Why would you think that? Split was a pretty good movie, mostly because of a superlative performance from James McAvoy. The Visit was also a watchable, well-received movie considering Shyamalan's past. If there's one thing that he's good at, it's deconstructing what makes a particular genre tick. His storylines may be trite and hackneyed, but he understands the genres. And of all of his original movies, Unbreakable is my favorite.

      Pacing, maybe?

      M. Night Shyamalan was never known for his fast-paced movies. The Sixth Sense works because it moves glacially. If people expected Unbreakable to be more like Stuart Little, I mean --

I'm not going to lie, but the trailer for Glass is interesting.

I know a lot of people hated Unbreakable, but mixing the characters with James McAvoy's villain in Split was a bright idea.

I would love to have a single venue vampire game that was actually active. 😕 Having tried to build it, and got no help, it feels like a pipe dream.

My understanding was that your game used a homebrew system. That's the reason I didn't feel like assisting.

That, and I had no idea what sort of help you needed.

I've been dreaming of making a Macross themed place for YEARS, I just never thought there'd be the player base for it.

Back in 1996, there was one: RobotechMUSH. I played there for a couple of years.

Be advised that I wasn't intending to make a Macross-themed place. I was going to borrow some elements and make up my own. It was a splendid idea, but one that, like others, I just didn't follow through on.

All of that has happened to a single PC for me.

Except that it was "have sink fall on head" rather than "slip and fall in the shower." But close enough.
