@DnvnQuinn Well, we're working on it (Okay, I mostly just spit balled ideas this week)!

RE: Deep Shadows - Shadowrun 5th Edition MUSH - Help Wanted
Tirit has a ton of code written for the game already. It's very close to being ready. Just little things here and there that are needed for the game to be alpha/beta testing ready.
Also, @Jennkryst , Tirit is the same person that had thrown something up several years ago, but didn't get enough programming interest to keep it afloat. It eventually sputtered and died until he decided to throw it back up again and give it a go.
I hopped on, helped here and there where I could, but I ultimately can not generally provide the time to regularly throw lines of code up for the game, sadly. Hell, I don't even get a chance to play games in general these days. Damn, I just realized how high-tempo my life is right now, heh.

RE: Deep Shadows - Shadowrun 5th Edition MUSH - Help Wanted
I suck. I have a passion for programming and Shadowrun, but my time became crazy limited and will remain so for the next year.
Also, Tirit is a pretty awesome person to work with.

RE: What is out there? Hard and soft codebases of choice.
@krmbm I learn 2 hours a day. 1 before work, 1 when I get ready to sleep. Adulting is harder than I expected.

RE: LFS: Eclipse Phase MUX
Sometime in the near future, I'll hit you up with a few ideas and maybe a little info on what I've done to answer the Ego/Morph issue (it is essentially what Hexagon has mentioned). If you want a junior level coder or something, hit me up. I also have a plethora of other coders/programmers locally who would be interested in helping out with this and other (I'm looking at Tirit's Shadowrun) Python/Evennia Projects.

RE: ISO Collaborators for Shadowrun
@Tirit I was literally about to email you just now because I've been staring at your old project and wondering if you'd want to try and kick it off. I figured I would check back on here to see what's up and what the hell do you know, you put it back up! I'll pop in on there shortly.

RE: I'm out
@Cobaltasaurus we didn't talk much over the years, though our various characters would randomly find each other on various games. It was always an awesome experience.
I'll assume Cobalt has become too famous for us peasants and now must focus on career goals.

RE: New Start Databases
I've debated doing something along this line for Evennia. In the past, I saw people interested in doing this. I think it is a great idea and might even help others get past the fear of building a MUSH/MUX/Whatever.

RE: ISO Collaborators for Shadowrun
I'm willing to put in assistance where I can. I come from mostly a Python programming background, but can fumble around other codebases.
Failing that, I can fill in where needed for building/descing/pestering you all to get this up and going/providing pictures of pizza and beer.

RE: ISO Collaborators for Shadowrun
What language are you building/framework/whatever this on? I know someone had been building it in Python/Evennia a year or so ago. I might even have portions of his code on a hdd and have his contact if needed.

RE: HSpace 5.0
It isn't on any of my old HDDs or thumbdrives, but I found a place that uses it: http://startide.us might ask them.

RE: Cybersphere Nostalgia Thread
I've logged into Cybersphere on and off for a few years now. I mostly don't remember how to do anything anymore, but it was fun finding random RP in that game. Very few people ever tried to kill me, which I am thankful for. I think one person even toyed with me like a spider watching a fly, but for some reason would generally let me go. Ah, decking.
Edit: Damn it. I'm logging in on there when I get home.

RE: Kinds of Mu*s Wanted
@ThatGuyThere From what I have gathered, MC is a little bit wonky (like it's pretty easy to make an unkillable or nearly unkillable Brotherhood Mystic), but Infinity is using the lessons learned from MC and making things better.

I think this might be 4. When I get home, I'll check out where Rince or Grapenut (not sure if he is working on Hspace currently) put their stuff. You could always try MUS*H or Gateway to see if they are around on there and ask them.

RE: Kinds of Mu*s Wanted
Anyone had a look at Mutant Chronicles RPG? I'm trying to decide whether or not I like the 2d20 setup they have. It might be that I lost my gaming virginity to Siege of the Citadel, but the Mutant Chronicles universe is one of my all-time favorite settings.
Oh yeah, to keep this on topic:
Mutant Chronicles RPG or Infinity the Game RPG. I'd love to see a game like one of these. Amazing themes, not sure about their systems (Infinity isn't out but uses 2d20).

RE: LFS: Eclipse Phase MUX
When you say experience with Python, how much are you looking at? I mean, Codeacademy.com, Learn Python the Hard Way, Python for Penetration Testers, and writing extremely simply scripts for work sums up my current experience with it. I'd be down to help do things if your lead programmers are willing to put up with my noobishness.
Also, I love Python. Python makes me smile; pretty rocks also occasionally make my smile... And babies.
edit: I may have recently been drinking
